Sorry it was late, what I meant by the three options were:
All joystick - Switching directions is done with the joystick, but tilting up/down to attack/jump works with the joystick to. (This is what I first thought when you mentioned the left stick.)
Kid Icarus - Switching directions is done with the joystick, but the rest is used by swiping
Tradional - all buttons, no swipe requird.
Hmm just wondering, not accusing, but did you get the idea of that level you just posted after a indie game that uses the same kinda concept of old cartoons was announced at E3 for PS4? If so thats cool, but I don't want you to get any slack for it, but I wouldn't like it if you took it out. xD
What is the name of the game? You can read here where I got my idea : http://mii-gamer.com...e-swipe-knight/ I actually mention that in the interview:)
I could probably add all those controllers.
opps it wasnt in that interview, it was in an interview for GBAtemp which is not up yet. anyway, the idea came from hearing the song "the entertainer" by Scoot Joplin when I found out that the song was free to use for anyone I decided to make a old school stage and have that song playing , thats why you see a piano there

Does tilting the analog stick left make the character swipe left or is it that you use the analog stick to move and the A button to jump or A-B to down attack.
So is swiping boung to movement of the analog stick or is it bound to buttons? If I understand his question correctly.
Ok well tilting the analog left makes him change direction and walk left, and tilting it right does the same thing. he is still walking automatically.
UPDATE:
We have made some changes and decided to also release the game to iOS, Android, PC, Mac and Linux if we reach our first goal. This is not going to affect the Wii U version.

I saw that, just wasen't sure if it was just to move the character and you still swipe to attack? Or is that how you swipe without using the touchscreen, like tilting the analog stick? It's been a late night (It's 5 am for me and I'm still awake. xD) or Is like joystick to move, a to jump, a - b to down attack, ect?
Ah ok.
I really didnt understand this question, sorry..

Don't think you needed to make a second thread, just post a status update on here (click on your name up top, and you can type on here, and give a link back to this thread.) ^.^
I must admit, I am worried about the control scheme. I mean its a cool idea though it feels more like an idea for a mobile game among the likes of say Reaper. I'm not how it will be on the Wii U. I'm sure it'll be good though. However I would like to make the suggestion that you include a more traditional scheme of controls, just so you don't lose any potential sales because of the touch based scheme.
Is there anything like Enemy Drops (I saw some chicken leg collecting?) and upgrades or stuff like that?
IF you look at the campaign you see that I also include support for using the analog
Enemies will drop gold. XP are found, if you look at the part with the chicken legs you see a heart above the hero, that is an XP upgrade. and there will also be many key items such as the Cloud Ring that you see in the trailer.
