I haven't played animal crossing. What am I missing out on??

A whole lot.

Hopefully they don't have purchasable items (with real money). I hope they add hundreds of new items and many rare items that are only obtained by doing different things, maybe connecting with the 3DS, scanning codes( although im sure people will just post em all up online and take the fun away).

I really doubt they'll do that. Unless NES furniture comes back.

Does anybody else hope that you're NOT the mayor in the Wii U version(or 3DS for that matter).

I think that people's perceptions of Nintendo are going to change. I can't see the Wii U being seen as a "kiddie's console", with its power and graphics. Some of the rumoured/confirmed games for it aren't exactly the sort of games that would be targeted at young children. So yes, I think that the Wii U will change people's minds about Nintendo.

Exactly. But people think back and remember Halo being an Xbox exclusive. Then, Xbox 360 and PS3 come out with all sorts of "hardcore" games. I think hardcore means online multiplayer that you can enjoy for hours. Hardcore in the literal sense would mean people screaming while banging they're heads against a plate of metal when playing a video game.

i don't think anyone has said this (sorry if anyone has) but it seems like Nintendo and Ubisoft have made a pretty good relationship. so for a 3rd party character from ubisoft i think Rayman would be a good fit in the world of super smash bros

Generally? That's only happened once. We don't know what could happen. Smash 4 is on the 3DS!
