Because there are so many clauses people don't notice. There was recently a bill somewhere that said tax money would go to libraries... if another sports stadium could be built. Sports Stadiums wreck the economic status of their surroundings and keep money rather than putting it back into the economy.
I would vote if they actually had our best interest in mind, not to trick us and make money.

I disagree about sports stadiums being built. Projects such as sports stadiums create a lot of jobs and local businesses such as shops and restaurants benefit from the the thousands of sports fans that come to the area for events. Anyway, I see your point about the number of bills that are passed with unmentioned clauses, although I agree with Nollog that most people tend to focus on the bad things regarding politics and often ignore the benefits of government spending.

I wouldn't mind too much. As others have said, a Wind Waker styles Zelda game would still look very nice on the Wii U. Besides, there'll almost certainly be more than one Zelda game on the Wii U, so I expect there will eventually be one in the same style as the demo.

I like to think that games will be £40, although I have a feeling that most games will be nearer the £50 mark when they're initially released.

The video is very well made and effective, but I do have doubts about the credibility of the campaign. As others have said, Kony hasn't been active in Ugnada for some time and the Ugandan government aren't exactly angels either. I'm also struggling to see how donating money will help stop Kony. The campaign has raised plenty of awareness now, so donating more money isn't going to gain much more publicity.

A cool start up would be a nice bonus, but unfortunately, I doubt it's going to be very high on Nintendo's list of priorities. They haven't put much thought into the start ups for their last few consoles, so I'm not expecting one on the Wii U. I'd like to be proven wrong though.

What exactly do you mean by "what's going to happen"? If you mean will the sites be closed or abandoned, then the answer is nothing. Wii U Go should continue to be updated with the latest Wii U news and the forums will hopefully continue to be the biggest and best Wii U community around.

@Waller - we don't have set ban lengths for warning points here. We deal with each case separately. For example, if someone got two three warning points within a day of joining, there's a good chance they'd be banned, while if someone who had been here for a while and didn't regularly cause trouble reached three points, we'd probably be more forgiving.

@GeneralCraezy - There have been a few cases where members have been banned, but as Nollog said, when someone is banned we don't generally announce it.

The problem with allowing such discussions though, is that it can easily lead to discussing piracy and other things which definitely are illegal as it's not entirely clear exactly what is and isn't legal. Because of that, it's easier to simply prohibit any discussion of grey-zone material.

As Ninjashock said, don't believe everything you see on the Internet. Most developers so far have been very impressed with the Wii U. Besides, it's too early for us to really know the capabilities of the Wii U and to start complaining that we've been failed by Nintnedo. Finally, this claim about the console's power is already being discussed in another thread, so I'm locking this one.

The problem with a dislike button is that it's a feature which can easily be abused and there is the risk of some members being offended if their posts received dislikes. As far as I'm aware, IP.Board doesn't have a dislike button feature anyway.

As for trolls/spammers, the simplest way to deal with them is simply to use the report button and one of the moderating team will deal with it.

If this is true, I think the most likely explanation is an F1 2012 game for the Wii U. I can't see Sebastian Vettel filming a trailer for any other racing game and the only game his proper F1 car would appear in would be an F1 game. It doesn't sound like the most reliable source though, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

The McLaren F1 is a great looking car and I'd love to own one. The Ferrari Enzo is another favourite car of mine.

I also really like the Caterham 7, and I'm planning to enter the Caterham Motorsport Academy when I can afford it. It might not look like much, but it has a great power to weight ratio and is one of the quickest road cars around a track.

As Feld0 said in the other thread, warnings are a private matter between staff and the concerned members. If there is a troll, there's a good chance you'll have noticed it already. The problem with revealing other members' warning points is that it can lead to members assuming someone is a troll when it could easily be for something they did months ago.
