ok my personal experience with both lets start with the wii u
when the wii u was announced i was excited i genuinly was same with the wii u but as i was thinkin to myself the other day the excitment is different . im excited for what the wii u " may possibly do in the future" nothing i actually seen seemed exciting is was everything that they COULD DO. imagine if they do this and make this game etc. but with the ps4 and even xbox one im excited for what i see! its all there im physically looking at it not just thinking or imagining what they MIGHT DO. does that make sense. everything ive hiped and wante to see over the past year has not come true for the wii u. but day 1 reveal of xbox. and ps4 i was excited for what i could physically see happy with what there doing and there visions for the systems . well not with xbox one there exclusives and games look amazing but the whole online and drm thing not cool

But you can't recommend something until you have it personally or have tried and tested it, and you are basing your statement on a demonstration.

go directly to ps4 do not pass wii u save yourself $350 seriously i cant recommend the wii u i would reccommend it for my 5 year old daughter but probably no one else and for an extra 50 bucks why not get the true next gen system

Why can't you recommend the wii u, please give reasons. As I have one and cannot see a reason not to recommend it

Well they made the wrong horsing decision.
HD amazing Metroid = System seller
2D side scroller DK = decent game that I might pick up for $30 down the track and play maybe 5 times

I would say donkey kong was better choice as it has sold so much better than metroid in the past.

Just spent 2 hours downloading trine 2, clicked on install error message 105-3155 anybody has this before?

Just got off phone with nintendo, their solution was download again, so for the 3rd time i will download this game. Pathethic really they need sort stuff like this out, luckily i have unlimited usage on my broadband

Just downloadedthis time with external hardrive turned off and it worked a treat

We have a annoying tv commerical here in the uk, so i will use that for my inspiration for this thread. Everyones download time is different so i decided to time my apps etc.

21 seconds to boot up to get to screen to click on my name

6 seconds after pressing my name for mii to appear

14 seconds to get into miiverse

3 seconds to exit miiverse

17 seconds to enter settings

20 seconds to exit settings

27 seconds to get into e-shop

Feel free to post your own times to compare systems to find out if everyones is the same

Also 30 seconds for my daughter to throw her breakfast on floor while i was typing this lol
