Wii U held on pretty good.  It almost had the same numbers as it did for during it's launch.  Hopefully it will be able to attain 150K-200K sales for the month in order to keep pace with the 450K-500K worldwide goal I predicted in order for the Wii U to remain relevant.  Anyways 61K units is still great and hopefully it was just due to stock constraints rather than demand waning. Hopefully Wii U manages around 35-40K next week and holds around 20-25K units every week until March2014. OT when does MK8 and DK:TF hit Japan?  It certainly needs high caliber games in order to maintain momentum.

Looking at comments, it has to do with something about a new game coming out and the price drop

Price drop does wonders for a console!!! I expect the 3DS to respond with one after E3 to maintain it's dominance on the dedicated handheld front.  The Wii U needs to do one this coming Sept/October; along with a MK8 bundle in late Nov or early Dec to remain competitive.

#265537 I think Wii U did the impossible!

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 08 January 2014 - 03:44 PM in Wii U Hardware

In 2012, Wii U was a new system. I agree 1M isn't very good for december sales, but it isn't completely horrible either, and the sales during most of 2013 were completely horrible, mostly around 100k-150k/month worldwide. As for 2014... my guess is better than 2013, but not great.

If you look at all the comments and estimates about how horrible the Wii U is going to do this December; then you can see 1.0 mil  in sales for the month is an amazing feat.  You have to take a look at the fact the Wii U is selling against TWO launch holiday consoles and still holding their own.  This is a great sign that the console still has hope of being revived if it was able to put out very good numbers in spite of all the cards dealt against it!!! I see 2014 being a do or die year for the Wii U as Nintendo is set to release a few system sellers. If Wii U manages to attain a 16-17mil userbase by March2015 then the Wii U's demise should be considered to be exaggerated.  Mario Kart 8 should bump up the systems sales to a million or more worldwide.  Then you have Super Smash, X, Bayo2 and other "surprises" like Hylian Warriors to move systems this fiscal year ending March 2015. (I don't consider DC:TF a system mover this fiscal year as it counts towards last year's fiscal ending March 2014)

Really

I like your optimism, but i cannot see the WiiU selling double what it already has, the WiiU hasn't sold 750,000 a month since release & thats what it's going to have to average to reach 9,000,000 in 2014 !

My answer is similar. Mario Kart 8 should bump up the systems sales to a million or more worldwide.  Then you have Super Smash, X, Bayo2 and other "surprises" like Hylian Warriors to move systems this fiscal year ending March 2015. (I don't consider DC:TF a system mover this fiscal year as it counts towards last year's fiscal ending March 2014) In addition, I expect the Wii U's price to go down again this September-October to $249.99 (a mainstream friendly price for next-gen system) and a holiday bundle that includes MK8 and NintendoLand for $249.99.  I also see retailers like TRU, Target, BB, etc doing a $25-$50 GC bundle on BlackFriday thru the holiday until the end of Dec2014.  If all of these are correct (it seems like the most common sense way to do it) the Wii U should easily sell 8-9mil more units if not more by March 2015!!!

I hope not. But either way,, brand confusion is definitely not the problem since it has been "plaguing" Apple's products (iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc.) for years and that surely hasn't affected sales.

While I do agree about brand confusion; (a problem that Nintendo hopes to solve by having the Wii sold as the mini instead of the original Wii U looking model) I don't think Apple has the same problem as Nintendo.  Everyone knows the diffrences between an iPod, iPad, or iPhone unless you are living under a rock the last 4 years or so; not so with the Wii U and Wii.  I still find people picking up Wii U software to play on their Wii and asking where they can buy the Gampad for their Wii.  It's a huge mistake for Nintendo in making the console look so similar to the original and the fact that Wii U doesn't sound like a succesor to the Wii as much as Wii II or Wii 2 would have been!!! It's a huge blunder on Iwata's part and I blame him Reggie and Miyamoto for not having the insight to do so.  In addition, they should market the Wii U's strength against their competitors through demo videos like: true backward compatibility, totally free multi-player online, upconversion of old Wii games, their multimedia capablities (Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, TVii, and Amazon Prime) and their AAA Nintendo franchises which will only be found on the Wii U.

#265327 Sony has sold through 4.2 million units of the PS4 as of December 28th.

Windwaker > the Last of Us. That's my opinion and i'm sticking with it.

@thechamp This obliterates your argument as WW has better gameplay and story line IMHO than TLOU.  I do think the TLOU is a very compelling game and one of the best to release in recent memory. (I wish it was on the 360 so I can play it more than just borrowing my siblings PS3)  The Storyline of TLOU is also classic but out of the two WWHD is Kobe and TLOU is just Wade!!!

#265273 I think Wii U did the impossible!

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 07 January 2014 - 03:35 PM in Wii U Hardware

Problem is Wii U`s troubles have got nothing to do with PS4 or XB1.
The 700k+ fall in sales for the month of December is really bad and is a result of many flaws at Nintendo.

It`s true that many rushed to buy these new consoles, but given that they have 1st party support already planned for the coming months and unquestionable 3rd party support, even if sales decrease - and they will - no way that they are going to hit Wii U levels in 2013.
Even Xbox 1 at that price will surely sell above Wii U numbers.

2014 needs to be a very special year for Wii U, if Nintendo wants to avoid another failure like GC. And i do hope they are really scared, because then they will do their very best to make Wii U, not a GC, but, at least, another N64.

Where are you getting this? All information points to the Wii U overacheiving this December instead of falling?  Everyone expected the Wii U to sell >500K worldwide for Dec2013 and VGC already has it selling 920K with a week left to go!!!  Even MC/Famitsu has it selling ~350K for the month with a week remaining; so I don't understand where the fall is coming from?

If you mean, you expect the Wii U to sell 200K-300K worldwide for the month of Jan 2014 maybe you have a slight point.  I however think that the Wii U could sell 400-500K worldwide this Jan 2014 (a good hold for a non-launch system) depending on system stock.  As I understand it the Wii U is still selling out this 1st week of the year (BB, TRU, WM, and Target all reports sell outs for the system) and at least shows the system had a good 1st week of Jan.

You're getting sad because I made a joke?

... TCH! I'M LOSING MY pOWErs!!1

opps...sorry I guess I didn't get that!!! I thought you didn't like the thread.  It does seem to positive for the Wii U (something rare these days).

#265229 Project cars screens

I'll probably have to see Project Cars in action to tell the difference. As far as car detail and lighting go they look extremely similar. Water effects and texture detail on grass and trees looks to be better in Project Cars.

#265224 I think Wii U did the impossible!

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 07 January 2014 - 12:20 PM in Wii U Hardware

Unfortunately, thinks aren`that great.

Assuming it can do 1 million worldwide, for the month of December, it will see a 700k+ fall from December last year.

If you look at Xbox360 and PS3`s December salesin the year after launch, both passed the 2 million mark.
So you see, barely hitting or passing 1 million, is not a good number.

That doesn`t mean that Wii U can`t do better this year.
From what i have been reading Wii U shipments never were that great either and they sell out quickly. Let`s hope January sees an improvement to show if sales can really increase a lot.

That's because the X1 and PS4 (more of the X1 than 4 but its similar) are all front loaded and running on hype.  Once everyone sees how these "next-gen" systems are barely able to surpass PS360 games (looks at PS4/X1 versions of  AC, COD:Ghost, Injustice, Skylanders etc) it'll be hard to justify dropping $500 for a PS4 (PS4+game+extra controller) or $600 on an X1 (X1+game+xtra controller).  I believe Nintendo Wii U can easily combat PS4/X1 if they market it's strengths which are a $300 price entry vs $500-$600, a true backward compatible machine (controllers, games, acc etc), great indie support, top-tier Nintendo first party exclusives, ability to be a multi-media hub Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, TVii, etc, an awesome built in video chat capabliity, and most of all TOTALLY FREE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE!!!!

The only thing I got out of this topic was that Reggie would look good on a motorbike.

It's positive news/thread about Nintendo...why can't you be happy?  This makes me sad :(

Happy with the sales numbers but just heard the next Aliens isolation game is being released on every other format, not WiiU grrrr.

It doesn't matter, the game sounds like another generic FPS which I am sick and tired of playing on my 360!!!

Dang you guys are all so grim.

It's still good news, why can't we just celebrate that...?

I know...we should just enjoy how Wii U is on fire at the moment!!! You could check how well the Wii U is doing by seeing how it is still sold out of major retailers like Bestbuy, Target, Walmart and ToysRus.  Depending on the stock situation the Wii U could sell 450K-500K worldwide in Jan2014!!!

#265028 I think Wii U did the impossible!

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 06 January 2014 - 05:10 PM in Wii U Hardware

I just finished looking through the Famitsu sales numbers and Nintendo's sales are phenomenal!!! The Wii U in particular did something I didn't expect!!! If the Wii U goes on to sell 500K units in the Americas (all things seem to point to it) we could see a 1 mil worldwide sale for the Wii U this December.  That's launch like numbers people!!!  So do you think the Wii u is back or do you want to see the Jan2014 sales first before making that assumption?  The upcoming fiscal report for Nintendo is going to be very interesting indeed. I think Nintendo Wii U will end up underperfoming and will sell at least 7 mil Wii U's by the end of March 2014.  Still it bodes well for the Wii U as I expect Nintendo Wii U to sell another 7.5-9 mil units for the upcoming year based on the strength of their upcoming games!!!  MarioKart 8 alone should help pull a million units worldwider for the platform.

#264271 How much do you think the Wii U will sell the whole month of Dec.

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 01 January 2014 - 01:54 AM in Wii U Hardware

That's it I called it...Wii U sells at minimum 900K worldwide in December!!! It has the potential to break 1mil meaning it should hit above 5.5mil sold worldwide before Jan 2014.  I am still predicting 500K-550K Jan sales, 450K and 400K for Feb and march so selling 7-7.5mil units in the 15 months that the system had been out (out of 9 mil that Iwat predicted)!!!  I'm gonna issue a challenge to Patcher that the Wii U will have an install base of 20.5-21 mil units sold by March2015.  He predicted less than 20 mil by 2016 so let's see who will get closer to the sales.  I am gonna quit this site if that rainbow of an analyst gets closer to his prediction than me.  Then again I'm not a "professional" like he is!!!

Not very fair to use a screen of a late 7th gen game to early 8th gen games. Take a late 6th gen to a launch 7th gen and was not a huge leap either. Yes the gap truly is smaller than ever before but the point stands. When in 6-7 years then compare Halo 4 to late 8th gen games. Might not be as small  as we think.

Well my point was that there is no real reason yet to pick up these "next/current-gen" systems as there haven't evolved past what "last/current-gen" systems are able to do!!!  It wasn't fair for people to compare the all new Wii U first gen games with late gen games from PS360 but it still happened.  I really don't get why that is such an issue anyways?  Anyways, I doubt the PS4/X1 will have the generation leap the PS3 and X360 enjoyed compared to PS2/Xbox!!!

#263983 How much do you think the Wii U will sell the whole month of Dec.

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 30 December 2013 - 12:16 AM in Wii U Hardware

Well i was actually one of the ones ok with the name. If they did deliver on the "U" in the name. A console for "U" whatever you are as a gamer we have a console for "U". I think the problems was the console design. It "LOOKS" so similar to the original Wii that people can easily make the mistake of it bwing an original Wii with a gamepad accessory. Now if they designed the console with some different looking designed something that stands out so there is no WAY people could mistake it for an original Wii. Also i am not a fan of the backwards compalibility AT ALL. i havent played not ONE Wii game since i got my Wii U. if they would have droped it they coud have easily made a console more powerful and x86 architecture for probably cheaper. I mean i dont give developers a reason to leave you out for 3rd party games.

The CPU doesn't matter as much as the GPU; which if you listen to reason all point to the Evergreen GPU.  While not as powerful as the 7xxx series of GPU found on the PS4/X1 is still better than those found on the PS360.  Besides the Wii U's CPU, as far as I know isn't that bad. Especially if one considers it's cache, OOE, and embedded memory!!! Also, there is nothing the PS4/X1 showed at launch that was mind blowing!!! They failed to convince me that  Wii U and PS360 (I have a 360 love it!!!) is truely obsolete or dated!!!LVJek.jpgsuper-mario-3d-world-3.jpgKnack-9.jpg

Oh the picture is to show that the games still look quite similar between each other.  The next-gen jump isn't really there for me yet for the PS4/X1!!!

#263982 Wii U is on a roll!

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 29 December 2013 - 11:57 PM in Wii U Hardware

Still haven't played my copy of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. I probably will soon, just cruising through Knack at the moment.

Wouldn't really say that the Wii U is on a roll. It has picked up sales, but it is probably because of the holiday season and bundles. I don't believe every sale made was a "We have absolutely got to have a Wii U" situation. We'll (not) see soon enough how many of those buys are long term investments for those families. It will probably be a lot less than the Wii, but then again it's not nearly as prominent as the Wii was.

We just have to see then won't we?  I say if Wii U sells at least 800K worldwide that IT IS ON A ROLL!!!  The momentum definitely has changed direction and it's not surprising that software had driven it!!!  While Jan2014 will see a dip in sales it wouldn't be unlike any hardware after the holidays if it did.  I'd say if they sold 500K in Jan2014 Worldwide that Wii U is still gaining momentum.  It's looking like it would sell past the Vita in half the time it took to have it sales and Sony fanboys have not given up on that!!!

BTW out of all the PS4 games why the hell did you waste a good $60 on Knack?  There were some solid games out there at launch and Knack was plain boring!!! I would have picked up KZ:SF or even Skylander's SwapForce was better than that game IMHO!!!

#263977 How much do you think the Wii U will sell the whole month of Dec.

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 29 December 2013 - 11:51 PM in Wii U Hardware

that would be too good to be true.... at this point and what has happen. Seriously if nintendo has a 3ds like turn around for Wii U it would be one the biggest success stories in my lifetime so far. I lived through the gamecube era and it pales in comparison to what the Wii U has gone through so far... I have never seen so many negative articles and attitudes towards a product before. If Nintendo can turn this ship around it would make me very happy as a fan of theirs.

The negative articles is because of us Nintendo fans.  People like Patcher, IGN, GamesIndustryBiz need clicks to stay relevant and Nintendo fans love to rage on those sites to defend them.  It also gives anti-Nintendo fanboys a lot of glee to see their most dangerous rival stagger a bit.  They would love nothing more than play the well crafted games that Nintendo makes on their boring system. Honestly, the Wii U is a lot more next-gen than the PS4 if you consider other things besides raw power!!! I love Wii U's Video Chat, TVii, ability to play Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime videos, free absolutely free online multi-player, TRUE BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY THAT INCLUDES BOTH SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE!!! IF that isn't next-gen I don't know what is?  It's partially Nintendo's fault for not clarifiying the Wii U (stupid name too) but I guess we will see a 3DS turn-around because the system is just that good.  Wii U is going to surpass the Vita in sales in half the time and Sony fanboys haven't given up on that!!! So the next time you see a negative article just ignore it and it will eventually go away.  This mentallity scares the rainbow out of people like dumbass idiotic Patcher!!!  I wonder if people start ignoring his post if he would still have I job?  He really is the Uwe Boll of gaming!

Why are those number too good to be true?  If the Wii U is able to sell 800K-1.0 mil, a 500K monthly sales for Jan-Feb isn't far from the sense of reality!!

#263973 How much do you think the Wii U will sell the whole month of Dec.

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 29 December 2013 - 11:32 PM in Wii U Hardware

I am guessinig 750k worls wide for Wii U in December.  A solid number, but still needs to improve to stay relevant for years to come.

I also thought so as well in early Dec. with my prediction of 800K units WW sold.  But seeing how feverishly the Wii U has been selling in places like TRU, Target, BB, Walmart, and even ebay I think 1 mil isn't beyond the realm of possibility this time.  A very good number which I expect to go down(like any hardware after Christmas holiday) to 500K WW for the month of Jan2014. I fully expect it to have healthy sales from this point on!!!

exactly.... December numbers will be solid but i am more looking forward to see what January and February numbers are like.

600K-700K is solid healthy

750K-850K very good

900K-1.0M the Wii U just got a second chance at life!!!

Jan2014 and Feb2014 will be solid but Dec is just looking like the month for US Nintendo fans to celebrate.

My WW predictions:

Dec2013: 850K-1.0M

Jan2014:  500K

Feb2014:  450K

March 2014: 400K

April 2014: 800K-1.0M (if Mario Kart 8 gets released during this time)

If nintendo offers more bundles with more games i suppose it will sell well even if nintendo didn't  i would estimate about 19-23 m Wii U consoles sold

19 mil by March2015 would be on the low side seeing the quality software Wii U has in store for 2014.  It is very possible that they reach 22-23mil by that date; but it might be wise for Iwata to expect 19-20mil for that fiscal year in order to exceed expectations! It's all about playing the game of numbers.  I wouldn't be surprised if Iwata and Co. sets a low goal for the next fiscal year (19-20mil units LTD) while really expecting a higher gross of hardware sold (22-23mil).

Yeah I'm surprised how many places just have the ZombieU bundle (like Costco), considering that game doesn't really interest most Nintendo buyers. I'm not going to get that game no matter how much they discount it. It shouldn't have been made into a bundle.

ZombieLand bundle sold out both in Hayward and Fremont CA ToysRuS before Dec 25th.  Actually all stores have been out of Wii U's for major retailers in the East Bay for a few days now.  Only a few GameStops seem to have some bundles left.  Target, TRU, BB, and Walmarts have been sold out for a few days here.

500 000 to 600 000. In NA only, I mean.

Very, very possible especially considering how much they are currently selling at the moment in Japan and EU!!!

The numbers are good, but far from a success. The console continues to sell bellow expectations and competition, and Europe continues to be the disastrous Sony Land for Nintendo.

No reason to be excited really. It's only pumping out slightly better Dreamcast numbers here.

  • So if the system sells 500K America's 350-400K Japan and 200K EU that wouldn't be a success?
  • True but the Vita still is "far" from success everywhere else...especially Japan where the sales are disasterous for a country that is fixated on handhelds!!!
  • There is a lot of  reason to be excited the Wii U is selling well and better software is coming out: MK8, SuperSmashBros, Bayo 2, DK:TF, X, LoZ etc by March 2015 the Wii U will have a total LTD of 22 mil.  You can quote me on that!!!

i should be a very good number for Nintendo.... but what will happen in January. even if the numbers are high i wont get to excited because the haters will be eyeing those January numbers just to say look it cant do it for two months straight.

Haters gonna hate regardless of outcome.  Whether the Wii U sells 200K or 1 mil they will hate. Then there are  media haters like Patcher is just hating to get clicks to stay significant. He lives on Nintendo fanboy rage....why else would he down the Wii U and stay quite over the flop that is the Vita?  Think about it!!!

The Wii U already sold ~250K units worldwide with 2 weeks of Japanese sales and 1 week of USA and EU. So unless Wii U has a disasterous next two weeks in Japan and fails miserably in USA and EU for next 3 weeks it's looking like this: Japan:250K units, USA: 250K-300K units, and EU 160K-200K it is almost certain to sell at minimum 650K.  I am still holding my prediction of 800K units worldwide with USA sales around 310K but possibly 400K.  In any case, I would still be closer than anything Patcher the "professional" analyst would predict!!!

Just went to Best Buy today and saw at least 4 people walking out with Wii U's in the hour I was there.  The Toys R Us here in Fremont, CA had 2 people pick-up the Mario Wii U bundle...the old Deluxe bundle along with the Zombie U bundle remain untouched (they really should clearance that thing to move it).  The Target in Hayward are still without Wii U's on the shelves but loads of X1 (WTF are they not brining the Wii U out coz that's F-up).  Anyone notice any sales pick up for their areas?

920,000 units.

Actually after seeing how well the Wii U is selling this December I might have to agree with you that 700-800K worldwide is a bit pessimistic.  Wii U is looking to hit 1 mil units worldwide by the end of Dec 2013!!!   Most probable scenario 500K Americas, 200K EU and 350-400K Japan!!!

#263060 Wii U is on a roll!

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 23 December 2013 - 03:07 PM in Wii U Hardware

It seems like the Wii U found it's second wind this holiday. Almost all stores from Target to BestBuy to Walmarts seem to be selling Wii U's to an almost feverish pace!!! It's not uncommon to see someone in line carrying a Wii U to the check stand recently.  So my question is the Wii U back from the dead?  Sales for the last 3 months suggest an upward positve trend so hopefully it will carry to the New Year. I for one don't think this is just due to the holiday but because Nintendo is finally beginning to convey the Wii U is a true successor to the Wii.  They have also began touting it's strength which are Nintendo HD games, Media Capabilities, Backward Capablities (wish they expand on this more), and new ways to play games not available to other consoles.  So what do you think is the Wii U back or are these last few months just a glitch?  What can they do in order to keep momentum going positve.  Please share your thoughts on this matter.

#262723 New Wii U Overview (hardware commercial)

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 21 December 2013 - 05:28 PM in Wii U Hardware

They need to also emphasize how all Wii accessories and games are backward compatible!!!  That it upscales Wii games and improves the picture on HD sets (I know it's marginal but the Wii U does clean up the bluriness of Wii games.) breathing new life to old software. All this means that you can keep your current library of games and accessories and extend/preserve your investment.  Wii U is the best gaming console for people looking to upgrade their Wii gaming experience to HD!!!

#262721 If the Wii U is not powerful...

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 21 December 2013 - 05:24 PM in Wii U Hardware

I agree about the term Wii U is powerful...just not as powerful as X1/PS4 but still powerful.  It is at least 2-3x more powerful than the PS360 which had very impressive visual games like Tomb Raider, GoW, Gears, DmC, Uncharted etc.  The difference between Wii U and X1 won't be as prononunced as it was between Wii and PS360; more like the best of DC(Wii U) vs PS2( PS4) or similar to PSP(Wii U) vs 3DS (PS4).  One thing Nintendo doesn't advertise is how the system is FULLY BC with all Wii games and accessories.  Something that would add more money for the average PS4/X1 gamer.

#262411 How much do you think the Wii U will sell the whole month of Dec.

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 19 December 2013 - 10:44 PM in Wii U Hardware

Seeing that Japan's media crate has the Wii U selling ~124K units for the first 2 weeks of December and VGC has the Wii U at 66K units USA and 44K EU for the first week of the month this month; the Wii U is already nearly 50% of the 480K for your prediction.  I think at the lowest  R00bot number is possible but I am still seeing 800K worldwide. Anyone else?

#262406 How much do you think the Wii U will sell the whole month of Dec.

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 19 December 2013 - 09:53 PM in Wii U Hardware

I have noticed an uptrend in sales for the Wii U this December.  I dare say it is much more in demand than what it was even during Black Friday week.  My local target here in Hayward CA is sold out and the Toys R Us have had very good demand (selling out of Wii U Skylander's bundle) for the system as well.  How much units will the Wii U do according to NPD and how much to you expect the Wii U to sell worldwide?  My prediction is that it will sell around ~400K units according to NPD (maybe even 500K if demand is sustainable) and end up with 800K-900K units worldwide.   Japan having sold 250K for the month and EU selling 150K-200K.  I know it sounds tooo optimistic but I see the Wii U ending with a userbase of 5.1M-5.3M by the first week of Jan2014.(seeing November Wii U selling 4.3M-4.5M LTD WW)

#261031 Nintendo PR for November 2013 sales. Wii U slightly over 220k.

Posted by ElderKnight77 on 14 December 2013 - 03:21 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Well numbers are all over the place for Nov 2013 NA sales (as Nintendo haters are on damage control trying to down the system moreso than what it really sold) the lowest being 220K up to 280K in some sites (some still think the Wii U sold 80K in Oct...I am a bit more realistic thinking 55K-60K than the lowest number 50K).  I personally think the Wii U sold 240K units after reading all sites and taking into account that VGC had the system selling 87K units(they've been on the ball lately with their Nintendo hardware except for that blimp for this November for the 3DS/2DS); so it is possible it sold higher but it's good to be on the low side.  That being said the system jumped 4.5x the number from Oct 2013 to Nov 2013 and that is a very positive thing.  The total number (240K) maybe not be great but it could have done worse!!!  It was going up against 3 major launches of 2DS, X1, and PS4 and it manage to end higher than most haters *ahem* Patcher *ahem* predicted (sub 100K to 150K sales).  It could be worse they could have had a 70K sales like the PS Vita and Sony fanboys haven't given up on that one!!!

The Wii U will most definitely end up with at least double the November 2013 sales.  If it does more it could outsell both the PS4 and X1 that month (won't that be a sight to behold) as inventories for those system maybe running a little low to produce more than 500K consoles for the North American market alone.  If Japan sells well and all indications point to it, and EU doesn't flounder; Wii U could sell 800K to 1mil units worldwide this Christmas.  The next NPD should show Wii U selling at least 480K units (my prediction 520K units) easily.  Just check out the retail stores and you could see Wii U had just picked up steam especially their Skylanders Wii U bundle (which is sold out almost everywhere here in East Bay, CA.).
