COD Ghosts, how does it look?

I can tell you the frame rate is spot on. It's really smooth.

Even with a strict Nat I get games easy enough. Funny thing is when I tried it yesterday my Nat had changed to open without me doing anything.

Another update today, no idea why but nice to see the support

Its also been confirmed that it has performance issues.  Honestly its pretty suprising that the PS4, the most straight forward hardware design in consoles history has any troubles at running Ghost in 1080p 60fps, but apparently the framerate is all over the place.  Wii U is far from locked 60fps as well, but PS4 was supposed to be the monster that would have no issue with 1080p 60fps, and so far its not quite as easy to achieve as people had hoped.  Rich at ReviewtechUSA made mention that the Wii U version of Ghost performs quite a bit better than Ghost on PS3, still waiting for a comparison of the 360 version.  Treyarch has faithfully brough Ghost to Wii U, and are still working on further optimizations to make it better.  

 

Ghost is not a visual masterpiece, but dont let the haters fool you, its not a bad looking game either.  Yes there are some low res textures, but the scope of this COD is quite a bit larger than COD has been in the past.  I think in some ways IW bit off more than they could chew and some compromises were made, but overall I really feel like the changes they made were all for the better. 

 

really? well according to this test the wii u runs ALOT slower than even the 360/ps3 fps??

Yeah, along with a LOT of other bugs you only find in such a high quality port job, a small choice sample:

No camera sensitivity in ADS.
Run accidentally being assigned to the same button as climb
Some on screen buttons not matching up with actual buttons you push
Pivoting with a sniper while in ADS causes the reticule to fly about the screen.

I bought Ghost so activision has my money. But I am getting tired of these developers trying to compete with hollywood. These big set pieces fail to impress me. I think ghost look and runs well on the U. For me it is all about gameplay experience and visual setpieces take a back seat

I played a little bit of multiplayer with my friend today. The graphics aren't the best and we experienced some lag. though it was fun watching my friend(xbox cod fanatic) rage at wiimote players. :P

Nunchuck: $20

Seeing stick Jockies rage at being destroyed by superior control inputs they were too stubborn to learn how to use And instead ignorantly mocked: Priceless.

i played about two hours of free-for-all last night multiplaer and had a blast. i am not that good but its cool to waste some time when i am up and the family is sleep.

I was shocked at how good the Wii remote controls were. Really accurate and doesn't feel difficult to turn like it did on early Wii games.

I'm a terrible player but I'd quite like to learn to use the remote for it.
