But seriously, those were some really cool videos. I guess I just thought Smash was a little more complicated than it actually is... I can tell what they're doing in those videos pretty well for the most part. Thanks for showing me those.
So is random online a good place for competitive Smash? I have a lot of fun when I do play it with other people... Maybe I should try some online.
I don't know, it's been a LONG time since I've played online thanks to horribad connection 
But i hear you run into no items final d semi frequently, so might be worth a try. Could also always play against CPU's. I know it's not nearly as fun, but it's something, a place to start at least.
Actually that's part of the reason I'm so excited for sm4sh. In brawl I could only play really effectively against my brother because he was the only person I could bring myself to train against. But also since he was the only one I could play frequently, I had no reason to really try and improve once he started really wrecking me. With a reliable online, I actually have millions of people I can train to beat up now. It's gonna be great
