thanks a lot i recently downloaded it, hard as hell to figure out by myself but i will look up some tutorials when my exams are done, then i will get rendering. btw, do u know if i can use 3D models from blender to make 3D games with game maker

Cinema 4D R13 Prime (cheapest version) costs 995 dollars. If that is too much try the demo or download the free 3D application Blender which Waller uses.

No, I got the PLE version which is free but isn't available for everyone cause you need to know someone with a PLE code. Like my regular school teacher who got one cause he teaches other people 3D stuff. (not me though, I learned everything by myself and some tuts.)

The computer parts was a gift to me and my brother and the parts are cheap actually. Building a computer is a lot cheaper than buying one. So that is why I built one.

Can't speak much of game maker because I don't use that program, but you should have no problem.

Even if it's not .blend compatible, you can export it into a .3ds file and that should work nicely

This is a model I made today. It's a guitar jack to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. I know it's kinda random to model it but I had one I thought, that seems easy to model. So yeah... here it is!

Hi, I made a Mcdouglas MD-81 model which is a commercial airliner that crashed outside of arlanda 1991.

Here is some renders of it






Btw I made two videos of it. One is a simple flyby and the other one is a damaged one with one engine burning but the model is an early version of the model.

Really nice model, Hinkik!

I can see a couple of problems, though.

The nose is a little too short.
The wings are too rounded, real wings have sharper edges.
The wings are too thick, not to mention the mcdonnell's wings didn't have an underside.

I was going to call you out on the weird protrusion in the area of the wings, but I see you fixed that on your animation
Also seems a little too clean, but you can blame that on the lack of texture for most of the plane.

Really looking forward to the finished model, Hinkik!

Thanks for the criticism. I can't uvmap and texture stuff yet!!! Doh Gotta learn that soon before more people find out


The weird thing under the wing is an attempt on creating this... And the nose kinda looks short on this one.

I get the feeling you just learned a technique, because both the kunai and shurikens look almost exactly the same in terms of lightning, textures and materials.

Am I wrong?
