I want to see 2 or 3 special attacks for each player aside from the normal A/B attacks. These either have a cooldown time or are charged based on amount of damage dealt. When ready, you hit a button on the screen and you unleash a move with less power than Final Smashes, but more than regular attacks.

I also have an idea of a whole set of abilities that every character has access to (some possibly being unlockable). Before a match, you choose two or three of them to have at your disposal during game. These are switched in real time mid-game. These aren't moves, but conditions (the only similar thing I can think of is Pokemon abilities). An example would be having resistance to projectiles or a one-time cushion to a move that would send you flying well off the stage

I hate to be.... hatin'... but feels a lot like loadouts and custom characters. I just mean, sure you could add super meters, abilities and custom character things... but that ( i feel) would bog the game down. This series has grown, and is great, because of its simple fast-paced fighting. Along with that, it has deep fighting strategies and a few of its own. I feel what makes this game great isn't the wacky items and amazing stages & soundtrack (although it does help... a lot) ; it's the simple control scheme that drives you into a fast and complex game and doesn't let go.
But i can see the appeal of those things... i guess what i'm saying is... put in a vanilla mode for me.
And that comment goes well with my next statement,
Speed it up a bit, SSBM was criticized for being too fast, so they slowed down SSBB ( jump physics were slowed, items were slowed, and combos were a little bit slower making it easier to chain together). Just meet it in the middle, slower than SSBM but faster than SSBB.

Will they boost the stage builder a bit? The brawl stage builder is fun but it's very limited.
I'd like to see more background options, more objects and a smaller grid.

Day one for new Smash Brothers, day one... It's the original reason why I wanted a Wii U. To speak the obvious: a new Smash Bros. has been confirmed for the Wii U. DLC (maybe, Iunno actually, something similar) and a good network would be kinda cool. I'll main Mario, he's not mainstream bro.

Fast and slow mode! :D... Unlikely. D:

True story bro. Cool story bro, seriously, I'm not kidding.

Remember in SSBB the little coins you get from certain game modes that you shoot at trophies in coin launcher?
What if you could use those to buy trophies, fighters, stages or even downloadable content!?

That's a great idea I hope this will be used within the game. I hope this will be announced at E3 but I don't see it coming any time soon but I would like to know for certain whether there is going to be another Adventure mode and that it's online multiplayer. It would be great if there were more achievements to achieve.

Why on Earth does everyone want Geno in the next Smash Bros.?
I know who he is and what he does but he is a boring character in my opinion.

I dont want him.

A lot of new IPs are coming to the Wii U (I'm especially thinking about Shiggy's). Sakurai will give em some representation. There's IMO no way Geno could make it in. But well, I guess people are aloud to dream...

Yeah and I agree with you.

If this turned out to be real, i would be somewhat confused considering the fact that the person who did the other super smash brothers games said himself he didn't want to make any more. I really hope they are making them. I would probably buy both for the Wii U and the 3DS. They would likely find some form of interaction between the two.
Personally I would like to see Magnus from Kid Icarus Uprising get in there. Link will likely be updated to Skyward Sword version.

One feature i would really like, but is very unlikely, would be if they added Mii characters. Where there are set kinds of attacks and weapons and final smashes they can use and you can customize them. If that was too complicated they could of course just have an automatically pre-determined move set. Either way it would be an interesting feature, but not likely to happen IMO.

He did say he wanted to add a lot of new features, I believe.
A Custom Robo character would be kinda cool. (In my opinion.)

I hope that they give it all sonic characters as fighters and really advance the single player I loved it but they could still advance it a bit๎•๎—๎…

I'm much more interested in seeing what new characters Nintendo will include. Like, Wii U new. Not Ridley/Geno/other older characters new.

They gotta add tails and knuckles, though.
...how many different trophies will there be? melee had about 300,
and brawl has around 500, so I'd guess 800-1000.

Okay, this is my first post on this thread and here is my take on SSB4.

Please, for the love of God, get rid of clone characters and minor characters. This game is about Nintendo's main protagonists, not sidekicks. It started in Melee and Brawl took it to a whole other level.

Falco and Wolf are not needed, Ganon is still too similiar to Captain Falcon, Toon Link, Marth and Ike are the same, pick one, Lucas is a Ness clone etc. Just focus on main guys for the next one. Brawl had like 37 characters but many of them were similiar. I'd prefer a quality over quanitity. Give me 20 unique fighters over 35 fighters, 10 of which are clones.

My wish list:

The original 12 from SSB for the N64
Ganon
Ridley
Pit
Meta Knight
Shulk
Bowser
Peach
Olimar
A legendary Pokemon Character
Isaac

Third Party:
Sonic (He sells well on Nintendo consoles)
Travis Touchdown
Jack (MadWorld)

That's 25 characters with different abilities, looks, and controls, weight classes etc. Some are original, some are from popular IP's and some are from niche titles that may help their IP's explode in the west (like how Marth and Roy inspired Fire Emblem to be localized in the West for the first time in 2004) Shulk, Travis, and Jack would push Xenoblade, MadWorld, and No More Heroes into more mainstream audiences and convince people to try out those IP's more. Isaac would help push the Golden Sun franchise as well.

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Ridley was a boss in adventure mode. Making him a fighter
would be like making Master Hand a fighter. It doesn't make
any sense at all. As for Issac, he's already a helper trophy.
If you take all the helpers and make them fighters, who will
be the helpers?

This is something interesting I read online:
http://allisbrawl.co....aspx?id=139067

Basically, a fan tweeted to Sakurai, and he said he wanted Geno, Issac and MegaMan.

Sakurai tweeted back and said, "2 out of 3." He removed the tweet moments later.
