Hmmm, a nice "family-game" app to have would be Pictionary Wii U.
You could draw on the controller, while it is being displayed on the TV in real time. I know that feature was shown on the E3 video, but they could make it an interactive game.

That'd undercut 3DS eShop sales imo.
If they did that, they wouldn't have an excuse not to give 3DS ambassadors access to the obviously incoming Super Mario Bros. NES VC game on Wii U.

I meant it like you can play the e-Shop games bought on your 3DS on the controller. Not that you buy a 3DS e-Shop game from your Wii U.

Playing 3ds VC or DSiWare or the-lack-of-marketing-name 3ds downloadable games on the wii u in any way would require them to be on the wii u's eshop, which would canabalise sales.
They're two vastly different architectures too, so that would be difficult.
It would have to be like SteamPlay on Steam, where the developer makes a Mac (3DS) version, and then a Wii U (Windows) version, and gives you both.
I would like to see it happen for older VC games, but it's a pipe dream and I'm well aware of how scringy Nintendo are when it comes to this sort of stuff.
That's why I don't expect it, but it would make sense and would be a good move.

Well, Netflix was confirmed, not so sure about Angry Birds, but what I would like is a few pre-installed board games, such as Checkers, Chess and maybe some card games like Blackjack. What I'd also want is Steam compatibility which was hinted at in the past, though EA wants the Wii U to go Origin exclusive. I'd also like Virtual Console games, extending from handheld games on the controller (The screen would make it too pixelated) and console games on the screen and controller. The 3DS has both console and handheld games, so why not the Wii U?
Bronies and Furries will die personally by my hand and my weapons of choice.

I'm not really a fan of apps, but I think Wii U should at least get Netflix, a drawing app (as shown last year at E3), Facebook, Twitter, and video chat.

App store apps. The wii u controller is basically a cross between
a gamecube controller and an ipad. It should have all the stuff
like angry birds, 100 floors, fruit ninga and maaybe (heehee)
magic jack.
