This rumor states that at GDC, Crytek will showcase CryEngine 3 running on the Nintendo Wii U. Again, this is a rumor not anything official. But i think it is true because Crytek said they had the engine running on the Wii U and they were pleased with the results. Also if you look at the GDC floor plans, Nintendo, AMD( supplier for Wii U GPU), and Crytek are near eachother forming a triforce. The triforce part sound silly, but regardless the 3 booths are close to eachother. Coincidence? I think not.

Nice, but I got cryengine 3 on my pc with the strongest gpu you could get (2011) so it won't be mind blowing for me though. Because I have already seen the best.

I thought we were hoping for CryEngine 4 for the Wii-U? But if this rumor is true, I'm sure it'll look great too.

Well judging from all the other rumors I've been hearing, it sounds like the Wii U will be perfectly capable of such an awesome engine.

Well PS3 & 360 run CryEngine 3, just not quite as good as PC's. Wii U is more powerful than those two systems so not only is Wii U capable of running CryEngine 3, but it also should be able to run it closer to PC performance.

Interesting. I for one would definitely want to see CryTek's CryEngine 3 running on the Wii U. I'd like to see more of it's raw power.

Really hope that the Wii U is as strong as we think and even moar
