Nintendo revealed they would show off there system before E3 last year and they did...it wasnt suicide. Plus with how well Microsoft did last E3 you really think they will do any better. At best they will say at the end. Oh yah we have started thinking about our next system but wait till E3 2013 for info.......Then again with the 2012 end of the world this year we wont even ever see the 720/PS4. And with the PS4 sony is in financial unstability right now. Spitting out a POWERHOUSE system would be shooting themselfs in the foot and would risk bankruptcy. after the failure of the PS3 launch they wont make that mistake again.

Yeah and what happened after E3 2011? Nintendo sold the least amount of Wii's and wii software because people knew that a new console was coming out. The wii was starting to decline anyway.

Microsoft doesn't have that issue. They are selling 360's like hot cakes and won't announce the 720 right now, not until at least e3 or else they will see a sharp decline in 360 sales and halo 4 wont sell as well because people know next year there is a new console. An extra three months of revenue is a lot of money in this industry (it's a whole financial quarter) so announcing the 720 now or in June plays a huge difference financially. Basically, don't take Microsoft seriously when they say they won't announce new hardware at E3

could have easily been made up, either way nintendo has been asking devs what they want for a while now so im sure they will come through plus if ur going to go believing rumours, why not believe the one about nintendo making wii u powerful enough for unreal engine 4 cos if thats true (which it almost defo is) then wii u is set

Do not call it the Nextbox. It wont be called that. I saw a commercial for a new DVR and thats called the Nextbox. Just call it the Xbox 720 for now. Either way with Microsoft focusing on casuals next gen the system wont be a powerhouse or anything. Look at the Wii. You do not get casuals with power and graphics. Plus with it not using used games or having a hard drive 720 will be lame anyway. Plus lets be honest here. Besides Halo 5 and 6 there is absolutly no other 1st party game on it that anyone wants.

PS4 not until 2016 my friend. Sony has stated time and time again they are sticking with their 10 year life span plan.

I see the rumor of the xbox mini being true with all the media junk they have been pushing and shown at this e3 but the new xbox I say is not gonna be that powerful or won't be released for a long time. I have read multiple times that MS has stated they want no more losses from the xbox division.

Brother, Microsoft's pockets are deep, but in theses times it's customers pockets are shallow. They are probably going in just enough and not overboard this time. King of Consoles won't be won on Graphics this time. I think that the are releasing the water down xbox 360/kinect, using motion control as it's main attraction to try and generate a large user base and profits much like the original Wii did, while at the same time using resources and money generated from profits off it's cheap water down xbox360 lite to fund development for their real powerhouse that they plan to unleash. On that note, Nintendo made lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of money off the Wii. Do you really think that they have not heavily invested in a powerhouse of their own?

Xbox was, whether you like them or not, Dead on Arrival. Just as we have Shareholders saying Nintendo should go make games for Apple, there defniativly has to be people at Microsoft saying that this gaming venture is stupid. Shareholders only really listen to money, and they're not getting any. If they were to do another leap, they would be commiting suicide in the eyes of shareholders, as they wouldn't be making money. They're losing money as is.

Sony and Microsoft are giving Nintendo a early lead to see if the New Controller will sell well then copy it/innovate a little or just continue with Kinect and Move like rumors say they are.

Even though I love my iPad and iPhone I would never play a Nintendo game on those devices they are not that great for gaming. I just want the Good Developers like Pixelbite and Hutch Games to make games for the Wii U

Besides, Iwata himself has stated that Nintendo's key franchises will NEVER appear on anything other than a Nintendo owned and licensed product.

I think it's for the better too. Once a company partners up with other big affiliates things tend to go downhill fast. Just look at Microsoft Rare.
