Were getting there sports games they aren't anti Nintendo they are just thinking about core games because of last gen.If they are releasing any game on 360 and PS3 I would imagine it would be worthwhile at least testing the water with a wii u version of the same game. The wii u is going to use similar resources to ps3, 360 and PS3. Might have similar cpu code to 360. Similar graphics to a basic pc card etc. I would of thought a conversion was relatively easy. The fact Take 2 want to go on record indicating there lack of interest in wii U shows an anti-Nintendo attitude though and clearly they are trying to damage Nintendo. They could have so easily shown interest but say no games are currently being developed for wii u. This would have been diplomatic at least.

Anyone who doesn't want to develop for the Wii U is anti-Nintendo?
Not necessarily, but it does seem a bit hypocritical sometimes. Think about it. Sony or Microsoft reveal a new console, and damn near every developer under the sun is lining up to make games for it, sometimes even exclusives at that. But when it's Nintendo? Suddenly everyone gets skeptical. It's always "We don't have anything planned right now" or "We don't think our games would fit with the system". Consider the fact that this happens no matter what Nintendo even does. The Wii absolutely dominated sales last gen, and yet it's successor the Wii U seems to be getting an even more skeptical response from third parties than the Wii did, and the Wii was trying to build success after the Gamecube which is viewed even by Nintendo themselves as a failure.
It all goes back to what I've seen a few people say before, and what is ultimately true. Nintendo can never win. They will always have a harder time securing third party support and even winning over the support of gamers when they release new hardware. Granted, I do believe they could have done a hell of a lot more over the past year to convince people that the Wii U is a good system, but still, there is often times a clear and irrational bias against Nintendo from both developers and the gamers themselves.

The reason they're skeptical is because Nintendo's systems do appeal a lot to casual gamers so whether it would be worth the time and money working on a game for it that appeals to the core market is a risk they're not really willing to take. As well as that, Nintendo tend to take risks with their systems so the same success that the Wii received is not gauranteed; though because of the system's appeal to the casual market I'd say its success is likely. The Wii's success suprised even Nintendo, so for devs to be skeptical is only expected and I would say it is a reasonable expectation. Not necessarily, but it does seem a bit hypocritical sometimes. I don't consider Gamecube a failure, most of my favorite games were for it.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Technical support. We sincerely thank you for the interest in GTA V. Unfortunately, we currently do not have any information to make public about our next game. We cannot say yet if the game will be on Wii U but we thank you for your suggestions. We submitted them to a competent department. Please bear with us as we focus on solving issues that would impede on your fun and enjoyment of the upcoming game.
Thank you for your patience and consideration.
Best Regards,

I would just like to say that I'm planning on buying a Wii U and I think it would be very beneficial to your company if you put Grand Theft Auto V on the new Wii U console. I heard today that Take Two was skeptical of the Wii U, but judging from what I've seen, it looks like the Wii U is at least as powerful as the Xbox 360 and PS3. The Wii U can handle GTA V and you can just use the pro controller if you don't want to develop anything for the GamePad. Although a map on the controler would be the greatest feature to have in a GTA game. Thanks for listening to my suggestion

I've got nothing better to do, and if a lot of people email someone it takes effect. However I don't think a lot of people are... And I have no idea why I think I did something wrong.Emailing them isn't going to do anything, you're just wasting your time. Why did you need to send two emails?

Same here, but commercially it sold a lot less than the PS2.

No that wasn't the point at all. The point was he was happy to go on record as saying not interested in developing his mainstream titles on wii u. I'm sure if the wii u is a huge success for both casual and core players and games are selling very well they will develop games for it but pre-launch of the wii u he is creating a negative news story. There wasn't much diplomacy in it.

It just seems like you're bothered by this as a Nintendo fan, there wasn't really anything wrong with what was said. They're skeptical about the Wii U and not developing any games for it currently, that's the situation not an attack on Nintendo.
