A theme that changes the background color of the site to something dark would be much appreciated. It would be easier on my eyes and less bright when someone is sleeping and I'm browsing around

A lot of forums use this layout but it's still possible to change the colors.

Yes there is a pony layout but we need a cooler layout that appeals to everyone.

I'm only for this because there's a pony theme. I'd prefer if there was just one theme, but rather 4 if 1 was a pony and 1 was for mobile browsing.

There's no such thing as a pony theme. Just a banner

Anyway, Feld0 has repeatedly said over the course of ten years a year and a half that he's working on a custom theme for this website, and no more themes besides that one will be added. (We don't really have a theme, this one is the default IP. Boards theme with a custom banner)

... Yeah, I don't really expect that theme any time soon, and I don't really care. This one is nice

No, they use IP. Board, which is the board.

You could compare it to Windows 7 and the themes you can download for it.
I wouldn't call Windows an engine.

I'd be all for adding one of those themes to the forum, but they cost a considerable amount of money, so it would be up to Feld0 to decide whether he'd be prepared to pay that sort of money for a skin. I don't know how to create a theme myself, but if any of you know of any sites with free themes or know how to design one yourselves, I'll consider adding them asan option.

Creating a good-looking custom theme isn't as simple as waving a stick. Back when David and I first agreed to share this forum between our blogs, we discussed hiring a professional designer and splitting the cost of getting a custom theme made. I haven't heard back on him on the matter since, however, so I've been considering designing a new theme myself. That's gonna take some time, however.

I don't really want to use a pre-made theme because I see them a lot on other sites and I want TheWiiU.com to look unique once we do get around to putting a fresh coat of paint on it. I'm financially able to purchase one, however, and it would be a much faster way to remodel the place than me making a theme myself.

Is there a way to donate to the cause or the site? I work 40 hours a week and don't mind helping if I could even if it wouldn't be a substantial amount since my rent is so high I need to quit renting and get a damn mortgage on a small home like a normal person.
