Red's the better trainer, but really the question should be:

Who's the better Red?

Game Red, or Manga Red?

i would say Manga Red. yes, Game Red can have whatever team you want him to have, all level 100's, BUT he's limited to the games laws. Game Red could never have Pikachu charge it's Thunderbolt in it's pokeball, allowing mere seconds to seriously effect the outcome of battle. so just based on how each "world" functions, i say Manga Red.
