Just this past Saturday i went to my local Gamestop to trade in my xbox 360, and wii with a lot of games i don't play anymore, and also a few accessories. I can't believe they gave me 475 dollars for all of it though! But at the same time they had double credit promotions for consoles going on so it's understandable. I just figured i would let everyone know how much you could really get off of your wii u purchase by doing this. Even if you sell it on ebay that would be good too. I'm lucky my local Gamestop has some nice people in it, because if not i would've had a hard time trading in stuff lol.
I calculated the price for what my brother and i will have to pay after getting Gamestop credit for the Wii U and games at launch, along with screen protectors and stylus's. In total i calculated that it would be 659.94 ( hefty cash i know!) but definitely a relief on my wallet lol.
In total with all the gamestop credit, we will have to pay another $184.94 which isn't much considering all we are getting.
I hope this helped you with getting your Wii U as i was pretty shocked how much this helped me out!

I don't like selling my systems. But whoever has the option to do this and doesn't mind then it really is a good idea. Whatever it takes to get the new system you want I suppose. So long as you don't regret it in the long run.

has homebrew, put tons of games on it, has a custom zelda case, green leds, hard modded ect ect ect (please note the i only use the hard modded feature to see if i like the game before i buy it, i dont keep the disc even though that is still technically wrong to do)what have you done with it??

I did this deal and paid off the Wii U, it's definitely worth it. I haven't played my Wii actively since Xenoblade Chronicles and Skyward Sword, it was just sitting there collecting dust.
