Are you referring to the gamepad's screen? That's not HD.I went to best buy today and had some time with the wii u, and I must say that I'm very impressed. The Gamepad is surprisingly light and comfortable, the touch screen is very fast and responsive, the resolution of the screen is pure HD, just beautiful. The buttons are smooth to press, the motion control embedded in the controller is really responsive, kinda sensitive but not a big deal. They only had Rayman Legend demo playable...and it was awesome! The controls are great, the animation is very slick, looks great in HD and just pure fun, a rarity in today's gaming. Bottom line...The Wii U is a force to be reckon with.

It's very tricky to the eye when you first see it, I should have said it looks like it's pure HD.Are you referring to the gamepad's screen? That's not HD.

I think bestbuy cleaned the screen up real nice then.Eh idk about that, my Vita's screen looks much better.
Yeah, actually getting to hold it and see it was awesome, it just feels right.I liked the Wii U demo station experience, not that big of a fan of Rayman though. But getting to hold and see the GamePad was awesome.

and the demo tv is so bad you cqn't tell.Yeah, I was just about to ask this. The only thing that is in HD is the TV, the Gamepad has no ability to go beyond 480p, if that.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that, I tried it in target an I thought the tv sucked, almost grainy like quality. Can't wait to test it on my tv.and the demo tv is so bad you cqn't tell.

The Gamepad doesn't need to be in HD and comparing to an actual handheld system like the Vita is apples to oranges.

The OP brought up HD not me. They're both handheld devices, sure the gamepad isn't a handheld system per se but it's the selling point of the Wii U so I think it's fair to compare it to other screens on handheld devices. The Gamepad doesn't need to be in HD and comparing to an actual handheld system like the Vita is apples to oranges.
I was responding to the OP's claim that the screen looks like it is "pure HD", a claim that I don't think someone who has used many handheld devices, such as the Vita, would make.

Your right, I haven't used a handheld device such as the Vita, but like I should've said, "looks like pure HD", from MY experience and mine only.I was responding to the OP's claim that the screen looks like it is "pure HD", a claim that I don't think someone who has used many handheld devices, such as the Vita, would make.
