Just wait until they come out, seriously, how does everyone here know that the next Playstation won't be a million times more innovative than a touch screen controller? A lot of people don't care that much about "innovation" as it almost always feels like a gimmick when it comes to Nintendo, a lot of people would rather have the slightly more powerful hardware to run better games, it's just the way it is.
A bit early to ask this but...

Well, the dpad is a lot better and is better oriented to 2d games, and it's not as heavy. My only complaint with it is that the grips are short.You prefer the PS controller to the Xbox 360 controller? WOW you're the first person I've ever met who has said that. Everyone I know HATES the PS controller with a passion.
