I completely agree that is definitely the same kid and the same father.

Whats the 'Black edition' version of this game?

Need for Speed Most Wanted: Black Edition is a limited edition release of the 2005 Need for Speed Most wanted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Need for Speed. It featured 2 exclusive vehicles, 8 custom rides, exclusive pursuit challenges, 3 exclusive races, exclusive and unlocked vinyls, and a bonus DVD. It released at the same time as the original Most Wanted back in 2005.

Just spotted this review http://gamingtrend.c...anted-u-review/

I was a bit surprised the review says the graphics are worse than other console versions. I'll be able to check this for myself later this week, got the PS3 demo to compare it against.

Here are the screenshots from the eShop. Weird that the game is on the eShop as Need for Speed Nitro-X.(now it's fixed)

Added spoiler so it won't take up much space

For those of you who don't want to pay $60 EA is selling it in the Origin Store for $30

He mentioned that the textures "are far less crisp" . Considering they used the PC's textures (it literally doesn't get any better than that), it's obvious that either this guy needs new glasses or he just assumes, because it's the Wii U it must not be as good.

From what I read on Miiverse the game brings over your Speed Points and your Friend's scores from the PS3 and 360 versions. Looks like I'm going to be starting off with my 2Million+ Speed Points from my PS3 version of the game. :P

Thanks for saving me the extra 30 bucks.  By the time I get paid this Friday, I'm buying Need for Speed: Most Wanted U!  Screw the haters at Gaming Trends.

I'm going to be getting it later. Went to Target and it wasn't there, but the hard to find Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Lego City Undercover were. -_- Also got two Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate 3DS.

Also wanted to point out Monster Hunter 3DS and Lego City Undercover have Club Nintendo codes. Wii U version of MH3U didn't have one.

I assume that either Capcom have forgotten to add the Club Nintendo codes inside Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate... or the codes are only for Nintendo published games.  Hmm......

It probably transfers your points over because it uses Origin instead of XBL or Nintendo Network to store that data.

Loving the game so far. Not sure where this "doesn't look as good" thing came from cause it IS the PC textures.

I purchased this game today, and it is being shipped to my local store for pick-up (free shipping that way). I am very glad to support this developer, even though I'm not really a fan of this series. They have put so much effort into this title that there is no way I was going to NOT reward their efforts.

Hopefully I have a few minutes of fun when I finally bring it home. :-) This purchase was all about supporting a developer who actually cares, and not really much else. Here's hoping that voting with my wallet pays off.

Just got my copy, had a quick look and compared it to the PS3 demo, looks noticeably better to me, much better anti-aliasing/less jaggies and much sharper looking. I'll be giving it a good blast later tonight.

I could look this up through Google, but I'd rather just ask someone here. Are there any online features?

Yeah....I'm not sure about this line of thinking either. So you spent $30-60 on something you probably won't enjoy just for third party support? Would you buy a candy bar you hated just because someone spent a lot of time making it and you wanted to help them? No of course not. They do it as a business and hey, its a great game and I hope you enjoy it, but thats probably not a very good reason at all to spend money on anything.

Well, actually, I would buy that candy bar. If I heard there was a candy bar company that actually put thought and effort into creating something that they thought was going to stand out and be different, then I'd be all about buying that candy bar. Those people actually showed they care about what they do. They deserve support.
