#37128 What games would you like to see make an HD remake or revived on the Wii U

There is also the want for a HD FInal Fantasy collection. My first Final Fantasy Game was Final Fantasy XIII and I loved it and I am excited for the sequel. I would love to play the classics. I would also like HD remakes of Kingdom Hearts.

#37079 Wii U Must Support An Equivalent of Direct X 11/Open GL 4.2

WiiU will probably support all game engine's latest version because it really has the hardware for it.

We can assume it can, but I also hope it can handle all the latest engine's at full power.

Whoa a Wii U fan from Egypt, that is sweet. i am from New York City but currently living in Ohio. My family however are not American but instead Nigerian. It is nice to have some diversity in the forums. Welcome fellow Gamer.

#36780 Do you believe in 2012?

Posted by Caius Casshern Sins on 17 October 2011 - 06:42 AM

its very simple really, the mayans predicted an apocalypse in 2012. and i believe an apocalypse will happen BUT only if you define apocalypse in the correct way. the word at that time actually meant revelation, not mass destruction/end of the world. i think there will be a great revelation of some sort, maybe bad, but hopefully good.

i think it will most likely have to do with a corrupt mafia organisation called the bilderberg group, that is basically a secret society whose members include the queen of england, obama, countless heads of corporations and countless politicians and also the rockefeller and rothschilds families. this mafia i believe is attempting to create a one world government via wars and poverty. i understand some of this seems really far fetched but thats why i would only bring it up in a topic like this :P if you want more detail on this, pm me and i will explain much much more.

back to the main point though i believe the revelation predicted will be a mass awareness of the people to this criminal society and possibly some kind of international revolution against all countries that have been hijacked by this society.

Whoa that is one conspiracy theory you have right there?

#36687 I CANT WAIT!

Posted by Caius Casshern Sins on 16 October 2011 - 10:01 AM

I am excited as well for the console. Am i as excited about it like the 3ds, not right now. But trust me when news come out about the games I will be doing my little happy dance. If I can go to the future to see more of it I would ( but I can't risk creating a time paradox).

I actually agree with you on this. I want the Wii u to be able to compete with the future consoles from Sony and Microsoft not the current on. So far the guys at crytech are pleased with the Wii U so far which can only mean a good thing.

#28707 Nintendo Conference

I was very pleased with it, the thing was meant for Japanese audiences so some the games shown were really meant for them. But the announcement of Monster Hunter 4 was big for me, since i played a little bit of tri and love it (sorry I am addicted to it sad my disc is mess up so i can't go any further). The new things you could do in that trailer was just so different from the Monster Hunter I have seen. The gundam got my interest when I saw characters from the shows i watch in cartoon network like Mobile Fighter Gundam, Gundam Seed, and the series that got me into it Gundam Wing. Learning about Fire emblem got me hyper since I always wanted to play one ( thanks to SSBB and the epic characters like Marth and my favorite Ike). Learning more about Kid Icarus Uprising the game I have been waiting for, and finding out Dark Pit will/could be in the story. (a lot of great hero have a dark version, it simply is tradition.)  Seeing some new things of Skyward sword and learning it could take up to 100 hours to complete. I was surprise to see the characters of G-force in an ad for Monster Hunter Tri-G and kind off laugh. Another part I liked was when Harada came flying through the window and headbutt Ono in the process, while still getting a streetpass during the Tekken ad, I was just laugh my butt off.

I was pleased with the show there were games I wanted that were shown and can't wait to play were there. Now time for the Tokyo Game Show.

#27641 I need some tips for a new TV

Posted by Caius Casshern Sins on 10 September 2011 - 04:12 PM

The frequencies you are talking about is the refresh rate. http://electronics.h...efresh-rate.htm
Basically refresh rates is how fast the tv changes it images. If a tv do not refresh it self you will see a still image, higher the refresh rate the less blurrier the image.
http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/refresh-rate1.htm
The thing is, some people may not notice the difference of a 120 Hz refresh rate to a 200 Hz refresh rate

A modern HDTV has multiple ports including those so you can use it including hook it up a computer. Some tv's have the ability to wireless display their screens to the tv. Posted Image

If you want you could look up some tv that interest you and and everybody here can tell you what they think.

#27578 I need some tips for a new TV

I don't mind what the price is, as long as its worth it ;) ports...???

So plasma is better??

I dont mind, really :P as long as it can go on my wall XD

Oh, btw, I'm in england, so I don't wanna order it off an american site.

The width of my wall is 32" (yes, I've taken a bit off aswell :P ) so it can't be more than 32" wide (it doesn't matter if its a bit smaller) and I don't mind what the height is :) thanks for your help so far guys :D (though its not much atm XD )

I've got some questions (some...)
Does it matter what the brand is?
Whats the difference between LCD, LED and plasma?
Whats the difference between HD ready, 1080p HD and High Resolution?
Whats frequency (50hz, 100hz, 200hz, 400hz, 600hz, 800hz)?
On one of the frequencies (600hz) it says 600Hz sub-field, what does that mean?
Does it matter if it has built in internet or wi-fi?
What are HDMI ports?
Whats a built in freeview tuner?

There's my questions :P thanks again :D

Ah, i didn't know you were in England sorry about that.

Does it matter what the brand is?

It doesn't always matter on what brand you get. Sometime it shows if the tv may have good quality but not all the time. Some none name brand televisions are in good quality.

Whats the difference between LCD, LED and plasma?
LCD,LED, and maybe even plasma (not to familiar with it) is sharpness of the images. LED have a sharper image compared to LCD and a plasma has a sharper image compared to LED. More info on the topic:http://www.best-3dtv...a-vs-lcd-3d-tv/

Whats the difference between HD ready, 1080p HD and High Resolution?
1080p HD is the highest resolution avaible to the general public. High resolution on a tv is most likely referring to 720p. I haven't heard of HD ready tho.

Does it matter if it has built in internet or wi-fi?
You can decide if you want internet and wifi, because newer tv's are able to connect to the internet and browse around and even watching youtube videos. It is just a nice add-on.

What are HDMI ports?
HDMI ports are like those colored ports in older tv's where you connect your game systems, dvd player to watch stuff; but are for watching content in HD like if you hook-up a Bluray player to a tv through a HDMI port you can watch it in hd. http://www.cable-tra...o_tv_finder.php

Whats a built in freeview tuner?
In Britain a freeview tuner is a tuner to receive broadcast so basically something like a cable box, so one that has a built in tuner can receive a broadcast without using a box.

Whats frequency (50hz, 100hz, 200hz, 400hz, 600hz, 800hz)?
I do not know what you are asking but i advise you to get a tv that is at or higher than 100hz.

On one of the frequencies (600hz) it says 600Hz sub-field, what does that mean?

I hope I help, and some others maybe able to answer better and give you more info than me.
