2 yrs ago I got a WII U and after 5 months I sold it.  Was perfectly fine with selling that as there wasn't much going on game wise.  So the other day I was looking on Ebay and won an auction for a 32g system for $130.  Now it was missing a power cord so I ordered one.  Now I was quite leery of this deal but yesterday I powered everything on. 

 

First Off the Good:

 

Minor scuffs but no major cosmetic issues

System was preloaded with Super Mario 3d world

Sonic and Sega All stars was still in the system (I 900'd this on xbox but hey free game)

 

The almost bad:

 

System powered up but after 10 minutes the light went red and shut off, I unplugged tried again and powered down.  Now I was not freaking out as I paid very little, but I was slightly annoyed as it was turning on but then off.  Low and behold I do a web search and someone mentioned the fan.  I blow out some dust and out falls a dried up dead moth.  I power the system back on and the fan is now running.  So last night I played Mario 3d for the first time and the system is fully functional....not bad.

 

 

Next up Splatoon

Bought my 3DS XL in may and really enjoy it, bought my nephew Zelda: Link Between worlds for his DS.  I subsequently learned he had an older DS and could not play it. (my fault for not checking)  Now another version is coming out called "New 3ds", Nintendo's marketing department sucks at naming their products. 

The notion of $5 for "underated" pizza is amusing.  I'd rather spend a little more and actually know what I'm eating.

 People not buying games because of annoyance that games don't come out, get delayed etc... are missing the point. If you stop buying their games, they will stop making their games for the console you own. You need to show support by purchasing their games, all you do when refusing to buy a game based on the company that made it is proving their point.

 

 

People are not missing the point and your approach to this is not how I as a consumer look at things.  Missing a launch date is one thing, but perpetually missing dates indicates lack of true support.  I'm a consumer, not a sheep.  Take what you can get is not something I do.

Maybe it's just your friendly approach, but that post makes me not want to play my WII U simply to defy you.

Got tired of hearing how awesome Xbox 1 and PS4 were going to be.  Bought my WII U last Thursday and must say I'm quite happy with it.  Only played mario and monster hunter, and some wii and NES games.  Still adjusting to the game pad but its fun to play Mario again.
