Much of the apathy within me is directed towards anime, so no.
However, I would LOVE to see Star Fox, F-Zero, or Metroid as tokusatsu shows.

Look at Japan. It's harder to get guns there, but they still have guns in their videogames. Hell, there's a kids show, Madan Senki Ryukendo, that has a character named RyuGUNo.

You know what's interesting? Around the same time that parents and politicians started getting their panties in a twist over violent videogames, homicide rates started going down.

Just something to think about.

I don't watch anime. However, I am a fan of Kaiju movies. I always take the subs; it just feels more natural. After all, it's supposed to be seen that way.

There's an anime thread and my tokustsu thread that no one uses, so I thought why not have a thread about what anyone's watched recently. Movies, TV, or even a web series.

Right now I'm watching Kamen Rider Black and Choujin Sentai Jetman.

Avoid romance and stay in your house watching tokusatsu or something. That's how I live my life and I'm doing great.

I'm guessing she's a loser who doesn't drink or even go out at the weekend.

Because all teens who don't drink alcohol are losers.(sarcasm)

So I've been watching Ryukendo lately, and it's kinda slow, butit's not that bad.If you haven't seen it do so at some point.

Let's start with a question. Is Kamen Rider Hibiki worth watching? I've heard that it's good until the retool, but I don't want to be emotionally invested and then it starts sucking. If I watch it, is it worth watching all the way through, or should I quit at around the writers changing?

Saturn is pretty awesome! But I don't have many games for it, what do you suggest?

Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition, Fighters Megamix, Galactic Attack, Sega Rally Championship, NiGHTS Into Dreams, Virtua Cop, Shining Force 3, X-Men: Children of the Atom, and X-Men vs. Street Fighter are some great and cheap (by Saturn standards) games that don't require importing. Importing is pretty easy though, all you need is an Action Replay, (4+ preferably, the normal version has incompatibilities with a few games, you can get one here. http://www.racketboy.com/store/ ) no modification required. It also works as a RAM cart, memory storage, and cheat device, so it's basically required owning for Saturn fans.

You people need to start playing something other than Nintendo. Y'all need to buy yourselves some Saturns.

I know this was incredibly silly, but I've always wanted a real life rpg simulation game where there were consequences. That Robot idea and child raising idea were really great..

Old games, new games, domestic games, import games, 2D, 3D, FPS, RPG, anything as long as it's fun.

Even though I hate labels such as these, I suppose paying $20+shipping for a Japanese version of a fighting game on the Sega Saturn when I can get the English PS1 version off PSN for $6 would be hardcore. :lol:
BTW, the reason I got the (Japan only) Saturn version was because the gameplay was smoother (PS1 is terrible at 2D) than the other version. The game was Darkstalkers 3.

Anything that isn't Kid Icarus. It starts out okay, but then it drags on and on until finally it ends. It doesn't help that most of your time will be spent on the atrocious ground levels. I've only been able to play online once in a blue moon ( despite being able to play Mario Kart just fine), and everyone else already has the good weapons and powers, so it's not worth playing.

But all-digital means no feelies.
