Cartridges had their time and purpose. Recall my earlier experiences with disk games.. Not being able to save process with outta memory card never made sense to me. Felt like the technology took a step back lol.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 360 doesnt work this way, correct?? I know you can redownload content from psn up to X amount of consoles (believe it has changed since then). Figured 360 process is the same and not as primitive as Nintendo's method.
Don't think steam would be such an success if they operated this way, let alone the other two consoles. Its apparent they're more concerned about the money that they would put us in such a situation. We the consumers are not responsible enough to handle our own purchased content. Gotta go through big brother Nintendo if you want all your games back. Imagine if your console were stolen?
We're not "buying" anything on eshop, we're merely renting it...

Universal ones.. No, at least for now. Could end up being implemented down the road like with the ps3.
Believe Nintendo said if it's up to developers to include their own personal achievement system in games if they want, which is practically meaningless. The benefits achievements offer out weigh any BS excuses the naysayers can pull out of their arse. Nintendo still having trouble getting with the times.
