#209797 poker night 3 character ideas

Posted by Half on 21 May 2013 - 05:19 PM in General Gaming

I'd love to see a character from Double Fine, although I'd prefer to see Raz instead of Eddie Rigs, but Eddie would probably be a better choice.

#198623 Assassins Creed 3 DLC Available

Posted by Half on 23 April 2013 - 04:27 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Now how about BLOPS 2 and Injustice DLC huh?
It's silly how third-party developers are being lazy with the Wii U.

#209189 Wired Connection constantly drops out?

Posted by Half on 20 May 2013 - 04:40 PM in Wii U Hardware Help

Do you have anything else you can test a wired connection with? Do you have a netbook/laptop? Perhaps any other consoles?

I suppose it's most likely your college internet, is there anyone you can ask there about your problem?

#211369 Mega Man X VC 30th May

Posted by Half on 26 May 2013 - 07:06 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I hope it comes out in Europe on the 30th, hopefully 60hz aswell, one can dream.

#196637 Minecraft

Posted by Half on 18 April 2013 - 01:34 PM in Wii U Games and Software

No, Microsoft owns the rights to console-minecraft. Although people have said those rights will run out eventually, so it is possible in the far future, although very unlikely. Stick to PC Minecraft for now (Or Android) It's the better version anyway, since the Xbox edition has no mods, skins cost money, it's a limited area, isn't updated up to the PC version and isn't 60 FPS. It does have integrated split-screen though, which depending on your situation, might make it worth the wait (If it ever does come to Wii U, it might not even have split-screen or dual screen)

#193138 BIT.TRIP Runner 2 is on European Wii U eShop

Posted by Half on 11 April 2013 - 12:29 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Been playing this for ahwile, I also have the Xbox 360 version but I bought it again for the Wii U since I haven't been on my 360 much.
I've got to say, the loading times are IMMENSLY quicker, mind being blown aside, It's damn awesome!

#201448 What if the new Zelda U is some kind of MMO?

Posted by Half on 29 April 2013 - 05:10 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I doubt it. I wouldn't really want it to be like that anyway, I hate MMOs with a passion.
I thought the multiplayer aspect would've been either just one of those "hold a wii remote and help" crappy features they've put in quite a few games (Akin to Super Mario Galaxy)
Or maybe something along the lines of an actual 2 player co-op campaign, 1 person link, 2 person random goron/zora/deku/thing and each person gets different uses from tools?
Eh, either way, I trust Nintendo to make it brilliant.

#200633 Rayman Legends Challenge App - Post your best record!

Posted by Half on 27 April 2013 - 03:48 AM in General Gaming

I find it strange that they'd force you to attack and jump to do a speed run, since normally both of those things don't make you go faster.
Either way, I managed to wittle it down to 21:89

#196687 Did you know gaming: Super Smash Bros

Posted by Half on 18 April 2013 - 03:07 PM in General Gaming

Imagine, if Banjo & Kazooie were on it, they could've possibly had more of a chance to stay with Nintendo. Maybe. Probably not. Still pretty cool!

#196684 No Kid Icarus Sequal? How about a Spinoff Prequal :o

Posted by Half on 18 April 2013 - 03:00 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Dunno really, it'd be a good backdrop for a prequel, but honestly, I didn't like him, he had nothing that boomed out at me, it was also a quick chapter. They'd have to REALLY do justice with him to make it warrant a purchase from me.

I don't think he should let this franchise die so soon, I really enjoyed the original (and 3DS version of it) and I also enjoyed uprising. I would most likely enjoy another version, maybe a mix of the two? (Have no clue how'd that work though)

#197176 What are you watching?

Posted by Half on 19 April 2013 - 07:42 PM in The Café

Right now? I'm watching Angry Joe's review of Injustice.
Generally speaking? I'm re-watching Buffy and also back-logging through Ashens.

#208282 Super Mario World SNES

Posted by Half on 17 May 2013 - 06:08 PM in General Gaming

Oh I know that lol.

But like how do you know when you've gone through all the secret exits and completed all the secret levels?

I haven't played it in ages buuuuut... if I remember, the little circle the the overworld mario is on will be red if there's still a secret entrance in that level. (I think, don't quote me on that)

#217487 Forgotten Memories coming to Wii U and Vita in the Summer

Posted by Half on 08 June 2013 - 02:09 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I haven't played a good horror game in a LONG time. I would love for this to be good but... iOS being ported to consoles doesn't seem... yeah.

#197194 Looking for friends to add on my Wii U Friends List

Hi! Welcome to the forums, I'm relatively new here too, and it seems like a really nice place.

#199667 I think stores like GAME are Wii U biast

Posted by Half on 25 April 2013 - 03:32 AM in Wii U Games and Software

That's strange, I bought my Wii U from Asda and I've bought a few games from my GAME.
Maybe it's just your local ones being dumb.

#196627 Pain in hands when using the Wii U gamepad

Posted by Half on 18 April 2013 - 01:20 PM in Wii U Hardware Help

No, but my girlfriend has a problem with holding y/x and pressing b/a at the same time.
Other than that, it's really comfortable.

#195323 Camping

Posted by Half on 16 April 2013 - 05:17 AM in General Gaming

Because it's a competitve game and camping can sometimes give you the upper edge. Think about that and it's clear to see why some people hate them.

#201058 Video game I'm making, needs funding.

Posted by Half on 28 April 2013 - 06:47 AM in The Café

I would, but I don't support mobile games.
If you got the $200 stretch goal, I would donate a little.

#204141 Vice City vs. San Andreas

Posted by Half on 05 May 2013 - 07:50 AM in General Gaming

I've only actually played San Andreas, it was my first, and last GTA.
But, it was awesome, played it for ages, mostly just messing around. The one thing I remember the most is that massive jump in the northern desert. Used to drive all the way there, then balls it up and wreck my car just before actually getting there. I don't remember much though.
As far as I know though, isn't San Andreas the most recognized and loved GTA?

#194657 Arkham: Asylum vs. City Which do you prefer?

Posted by Half on 14 April 2013 - 08:06 PM in General Gaming

Honestly, I prefered Arkham Asylum, I don't know why either, it just seemed, darker, more of a metroidvania than City.

#214167 Which TV intro is scarier - Twilight Zone or X Files

3 People have said Twilight Zone ^ Yet it only has 1 vote as of now? Eh?

#210727 Lego city undercover saved game problem on wii u

^ What Chrop said.

#197544 What was the most emotional thing you'll remember in a videogame? (Spoilers)

Posted by Half on 20 April 2013 - 05:52 PM in General Gaming

I have too many to mention, so I'll just go with the earliest one I can remember.

Suikoden 2, Jowy to be precise. Starting out as your best friend, being torn away from each other and then ending up as leaders on opposite sides of a war. You can guess what happens at the end, you're still friends, you have so many memories together but one of you has to die. Didn't help I was 12 xD I probably wouldn't tear up at it now but... yeah, good times.

I'm really a big crybaby when it comes to games though, I guess they just strike a chord that other media doesn't.
