As I understand it, your NNID can only be on 1 Wii U and 1 3ds. But you can transfer your NNID/Content/Licenses to a new (target) system if you wish.
Check out the Nintendo Support page, that will tell you everything you need to know. If you should require more instruction, I would recommend giving Nintendo a phone call.

I saw this awhile back and was nice to hear from Miyamoto about the cockpit feature. I like how the tv screen will show a cinematic view of what's going on, and how it will show off all the beautiful visuals. The signed 3ds was an awesome gesture

I've been also tossing around the idea of getting a vita, not for the games, but just so I can play off tv, like on my bed or something. But like Doodle said, I'll most likely get The New 3DS before I get a Vita

I usually check here, Nintendo life/WiiUDaily for Ninty releases, and for ps4 multiplats, I usually take a glance at popular sites and also look at gamefaqs.
But like others said, the sure-fire way would be to try to secure a demo, rent it, or watch a "let's play"

does toad have profile saves?
I remember on of the mario's just had 3 saves for the system, vs logging into your account and having your own 3 saves.
so how does toad work?
From what I played so far, there is only one profile save.
