Well they haven't been doing anything since 2011. So they had 2 years to make this game, maybe it's the new IP Miyamoto was talking about.
Seems like a very logical observation.
Whatever they're up to though, it will be good.

Several sites are claiming that Dragon Quest X might come out in the West (I really hope so).

Apparently because there is no mention of the Wii U, it means it won't be coming out for the Wii U in the west according to Wii U Daily, however, there is also no mention of PC or Wii.
Do you guys hope Dragon Quest X sees a Western release? I know I do.

The case was always there for me. I honestly don't see any problems with the console and never have. For me I think the only major reason it hasn't been selling is down to the lack of advertisement. The PS4 and Xbox One are plastered all over TV screens, why the Wii U never has been I'll never know (Nintendo have more than enough money to advertise). Most consumers of any product will only buy if it has been advertised to a considerable level, advertising improves consumer confidence in a product, and it is never too late to start advertising.
This is how the UK works anyway.

The numbers are good. Not good enough for the Wii U to reach 9 million sales by the end of April, but good nonetheless.

I was always gonna get this game, but since the delay for porting, it has moved back to christmas for me. Shame really.
Just you wait until it gets delayed for a PS4 and 720 port, as well as the complimentary IOS and Android games. Maybe a Vita and 3DS version as well.
