This IS Gamespot, after all. I am not sure how much credibility they still wield with gamers after giving The Last of Us an "8"....far below the rest of the reviewing community. Also, check out the Gamespot reviewer profiles sometime. They take trolling popular games as a badge of honor by saying things like, "Hates all the games you love" and other gems that have no place being expressed by "professionals."

I think the last of us does NOT even deserve 8 so yeah you are right that they lost credibility but if you think it deserves more than 8, then idk.

You should cancel both pre-orders... there will be a price drop on at least one of them by the time you move any ways...

Not trying to tell you to not cancel but why'd you lose interest?

I know they only showed lot's of smaller indie titles but gamescom isn't the biggest thing in the world.

 

They obviously have bigger titles yet to be announced, they even said they santa monica (makes god of war I believe) naughty dog (crash bandicoot and many others) and media molecule (lbp and other stuff... probably)

all had games in development. 

Well, because even if they reveal them in 2014 or 2015 E3, you won't be able to buy them until 2015~2017. Until then, there is nothing to play on ps4.

I don't understand preorders anyways. Go ahead and cancel it if you don't want to. What's stopping you from buying the ps4 (if you want to) once you settle into your new house?

After gamescom, I lost interest in PS4. I am definitely canceling it. 

Gamecube, definitely. No one else seems to appreciate the thing but I think it really was one of Nintendo's best consoles. Some of their best first party games like Super Mario Sunshine, SSB Melee, Wind Waker and Metroid Prime were on it. And it didn't do too bad in terms of multiplats either, I mean how can you go wrong when you have games like TimeSplitters and the actually decent Tony Hawks?

I also love the fact that the main design was purple, even though I've always had the black Gamecube.

well...I am sure ps4 will have a good game someday but they haven't announced any yet. 

I personally think that xbox one is a superior console to ps4.

And even if I cancel my preorder now, I will probably buy it again when there is a game to play. 

When I compare the launch window titles, I think xbox one is probably the one I should get for now. I am a die hard dead rising fan~

But then again, I am not sure how I will end up shipping my systems when I move to different state.

Never get a regular HDD. Those are for noobs. Get SSD.

And I highly recommend intel over AMD.

I have ordered both ps4 and xboxone.

I currently own huge PC and wii U.

I am planning to move to different state in about a year and have no idea how to carry all these game systems with me.

And I currently can't think of any ps4 exclusive that I want to play.

Do you think I should be able to cancel my ps4 preorder? 

Or shall I just sell it to someone on ebay with higher price?

Honestly, MS gave up on 360 since a year ago. 

The game pad is not necessary for any of that. Like I said, you can play this game with the classic controller, so they have ways around having to look 2 screens.

Ironically, since I played off screen a lot, I had to use these different methods ON the gamepad, as it was my only screen.

You can press the ' - ' button to swap through several layouts, switching gamepad and tv screens, and both options of picture in picture so you never have to look down.

Does Pro Controller have zyro sensor? Once you enter the building, there are three switches on the left side and you need to use zyrosensor and look at the left to activate it. And there is a missile that uses wii u controller screen to aim and you need to touch the screen in order to fire. How can you do either of these without wii U screen and zyrosensor?

Im pretty sure if you played any tiny level from any game over and over and over again 10 times in a row it would start to get old.

Use the classic controller instead of the gamepad, or if you dont have one, the right analog stick, you wont have to look at the gamepad then.

I don't mind drawing on the gamepad screen. I can do it with my eyes closed. (yeah, i was actually surprised when some gamers said it's not responsive because my gamepad screen acts like it's hypersensitive XD) But I didn't like sequences like aiming missile with gamepad screen or how you can't see the inside of building without using wiiU gamepad screen w/ zyro sensor. They basically forced us to use gamepad screen when it was totally unnecessary and they could have used easier ways to pull the same thing.

I just have played the Wonderful 101 demo about 10 times.

And I just got bored.... ' - ' ;;; so I am not sure anymore.

I didn't like the use of wii u gamepad. It keeps me distracted from focusing on game and I had to constantly look at my gamepad screen instead of my beautiful HDTV.

The "Blur effect" is called a heat wave... It happens in real life...

And we wear sun glasses because it hurts our eyes. If they replicate what's negative in our real life to the game, I can't say that I am going to be happy with such negative realism. 

if you had the GC version would you still buy it, because gamers always complain about games like call of duty same game better graphics? 

I was never impressed with COD graphic so I don't know if people were buying COD for graphic. I never understood people buying COD every year and it's their fault for buying a bad game. 

I am an extremely picky gamer especially when it comes to graphic. I just can't play 4:3 screen ratio, or less than 720p resolution games anymore. 

However, I can't say that I prefer the art style of the new wind waker over the previous art style. This new version got too much blur effect which is my least favorite of all the graphical effects.

The blur effect doesn't really give sense of temperature. It only makes me want to puke. In my opinion, HD should always be clear and crisp color, not blurry.

I really doubt that Konami will lower their game quality just to release it on wii U. And it's not gonna sell much either on wii U even if it comes out.

Most MGS fans are hardcore gamers meaning they don't want to play bad version of the game.

I am definitely going to buy this for a couple of reasons

1) better resolution unlike 480i blurred graphic 

2) wide screen

3) better polished treasure hunting mission

4) I don't have GC version anymore and I love zelda games

But I have the wonderful 101 demo.

It had potential but I am selling this because they let you play for 15 min and then spend about 3 min making fruit juice w/ score board which is extremely frustrating. 

The controls are pretty awful.

 

Can I play this with a pro controller? The line drawing stuff is pretty unresponsive.  I also didn't like the camera angle.  You guys really need to stop hyping up every game like its the second-coming of Jesus Christ. I'll probably rent it and that's it. 

How does using pro controller change anything?

BTW, i think this is going to be the best wii U game especially because there is no good game for wii U yet.
