Gameiformer gave the Wii U a B-, They gave Nintendo Land a 7 out of 10, And they gave ZombiU a 5 out of 10. Wtf Gameinformer?

Two questions. 1) If you use a flash drive for more memory on the U, do you have to keep it in there or can you take it out and the new memory will stay? 2) If someone friends you on the U do you have to friend them back so that you show up on their friends list?

well yeah it needs to be plugged into the Wii U for it to read data, but unplugging it wont delete any data.
