good news! Gamestop customer service called and said when I tried to preorder the MM New 3DS and wasn't able to, it wasn't because it was out of stock yet but because the system traffic caused some kind of error. They had my order but it just never got to the stage of adding a funding source. So I set up my payment over the phone and am going to get one after all!

Glad all work out.
I check there site and call. Then found out that they sold out within 15mins and that's why they had no info. But I got mines preorder from bestbuy.com

I called Nintendo Support to let them know what was going on since I should be able to play it from the external hdd. The guy escalated it to the next tier and they're going to get back in touch with me in the next couple days.

Haha ok. Just asking bc my toddler loves Yoshi and I wanted her to be able to watch me play a game with lots of YOSHI in it. Mario Kart has a lot but you're looking at the back of Yoshi's head the whole time.
