Unsurprisingly, there's a bunch of Sonic fanboys angry over a free DLC and make up absurd claims like Nintendo killing Sonic. The Sonic fanbase never ceases to amuse me.

They're still angry that Nintendo crushed Sega into the ground until they were forced to go third party. They can't stand to see these past rivals working together. They want the old days back.

@R00bot And the best about that is that Nintendo had nothing to do with it. It was Sega's own screw ups that caused them to fail and it was Sony that performed the final blow to Sega with the Dreamcast. But you are right when you say that they still can't get over it.

To be fair, given the crowd that the VGX awards has, Nintendo could've announced the second coming of Christ and people would still have that look. (Not saying I'm happy with what the announcement was, but anyway)

I've been fine with anything that made sense to show at the VGX awards. Be it, Smash Bros., X, or even Bayonetta.
