Ugh.I still prefer the C based languages. It's pretty easy to integrate stuff like Irrlicht and SDL on them.

Then WiFi into your pc and use cable to connect pc to internet, then use a program to change region. I'm half sleep but that's what u do.

VPN doesn't need a horsing ethernet port, dumbasses.
Get a router that supports an open router software like openwrt or ddwrt which is better or tomato and buy your VPN access, plug it into the router's webpage, and then go "oh carp, that's not how Nintendo block their services at all! they use their software/firmware to block your acces!"
