I discovered something last night. When playing VC games on Wii U (at least GBA games), you can press the right stick in to quickly toggle between screen smoothing being on or off.

Saw interstellar this weekend. Was really good, but nore of an inception than prestige (which is still my favourite Nolan movie).

I should probably point out then that much of the movie's script actually came about when Jonathan Nolan was commissioned to look into wormholes and the theory of relativity. Believe me this is very much an idea based movie.
Also Nolan is the master of making some crazy mind-bending ideas into actual visual effects, and that's also very much present in the movie. I really don't think Spielberg would have pulled this off nearly as well as the Nolans.

Still, it was written for Spielberg. I'd at least like to see how he would have done it. It's like giving a script meant for James Gunn to Joss Whedon. It would still work, but..It would feel off. Like Eoin Colfer wrapping up Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series

Personally right now I think PS4 would be the better choice. Better exclusives in my opinion. Even though I have an xb1 and I don't have a ps4 :p

As a BIG fan of EO, EOU was awful gameplay and storywise. EO's always been more about the world then the characters and Ms. Mary Sue was just AWFUL as a character. EOIII/IV are the Best EO games released so far.
Not having played PQ, I have heard that it has a better idea of ways to round out party members with SubPersonas(Ala Subclasses)

Finally got a chance to play the Sonic Boom 3DS demo, and now I'm kinda sad you only get 8 uses. There is 3 levels available of the 3D running levels, to the metroidvania style, to a classical sonic level (more or less). I liked it, and the adventure level there were some complains that it was sonic only, not true, there was areas that you needed Tails hover, and Knuckles digging, not sure about the new chick as I still missed a few areas.

It's not classic Sonic at all. It's still based on pre Lost World Sonic 3d design. Straight lines with a couple pits for difficulty and focuses on speed. That is not Sonic. That's the misconception about sonic.

Thats why I said more or less, but more on the less side. Oh wait I think your talking about the tunnel level not the runner level? I was saying the race level was kinda more like Sonic. The tunnel level was kinda boring, it was just "going fast and straight" and that isnt really sonic.

This year is really weird. In Hindsight, EVERY game that's in my top 5 can be played on a PC. It's either sad or shocking, considering 75% of my gaming systems aren't PC.

gripping). On the other hand, Something like Hearthstone or Heroes of the Storm, which are based around Multiplayer? I can play give or take 20 matches of each one and have a general understanding of where I stand on the game. Rogue Legacy is also up there, because the core gameplay is easy to get from the 100ish Heroes I've run on it.

You sound like my brother, where your favourite thing about gaming is being able to give someone else a wooping, or to at least have a really good match against them. You should look into smash competitively if that's the case. It's pretty much a perfect game for that sort of thing.

I usually don't get caught up in sales nonsense as it doesn't accted how much fun a system can be for me. I do think with no confirmation Wii U might top 8 million this holiday.

any milestone is good for Wii u right now. all I know is i went black friday shopping with the wife and saw no one with Wii U stuff... everyone had xb1 and ps4 consoles in carts and hands. I hope Wii U does well.

Well it did fine. Just not PS4/XBO numbers. Never will. it's estimated it did 300k BF. Others hit over a mill I think. Tho that's not confirmed.
