Get Smash Wii U, the 3DS, and then pick up another game for 3DS. You really don't IMO need 2 versions of Smash.

Yeah I guess I can wait to get the New 3DS until Xenoblade or Mewtwo. Whichever comes first. By that time I'll have more moneys as well.

You know, not defending IGN, not that I care good or bad, but maybe their review would make more sense if not for the embargo on mentioning the Battle Frontier.

Also the PS4 version is in Spanish which makes it a bit more Exotic as compared to the Wii U version being more authentic to Chicago.

And suddenly, my respect for GF has completely gone down the Toliet. Such a shame, considering Gen V was the best Gen and Gen VI is looking to be the worst.

Don't have the game already, but all the stuff that's been coming up in the lead up just is sucktackular. In no order:
Framerate still hasn't been fixed
Megas AREN't compatible with X/Y
Battle Frontier isn't in the game
Neither is the Game Corner
Need I go on?

Alright nice because two of those complaints were mine already but I wasn't absolutely sure of one of them. I had mentioned GF sucking because the lack of Mega compatibility before but if the Battle Frontier isn't there it's really suck-ish. I don't really care about the Game Corner, but it was probably removed due to a stupid European law, so not Gamefreak's fault there. Then again I didn't check many sources to confirm that.

Smash bros. metacritic one point below The Last of Us, and only because one reviewer gave it 80 due to daddy issues. Currently at roughly 50th best game of all time (not counting repeats of the same game on different consoles).

@sorceror12 just your impressions so far nothing in particular just overall. I mean I know and have heard from everyone that I know that has the game (more people than some may think) that it is a quality port. So I will be getting it this week do doubt.

Argh. I think I want to get Smash Wii U, but I don't want to spend a whole ton of money just so I can play with 4 (or more) people... I want it to be fair to everybody, but it would be so expensive to buy a ton more pro controllers. >_>

NSMB Wii just passed 10 million copies sold in the US, proof that Nintendo games have legs. That game came out in 2009.
