Most game codes should should be valid indefinitely, but promotional codes like Twitch Turbo only last for about a month. Make an account just to be sure.

yes, that's normal. As a child, Link is too small to hold the Hylian Shield in one hand, so he wears it on his back and when he defends he has to crouch down and use it as a "shell"
