I wonder if you'll be able to play it on the Wii U using the 3DS. If not, you could probably play against three people on separate screens: the 3DS', the Wii U-mote's, and the TV screen itself.

Glad to see that's true. And we still have time to get our wishlist in as the game hasn't started development yet.
