What is the difference between the debate over whether or not unborn humans are people and whether or not women are people?

Cells need to make up tissue and organs to help you function.
Though since bacteria are living, yes, unborn humans are, too, although if they're PEOPLE is a big debate.

Ultimately, my point was that there was a time when the idea of women being people was absurd. I see society as being in the same situation now but with unborn human. Thanks to everyone who commented on this status. I just felt the need to bring up the subject.

The baby in general is not living however the cells are. It is complicated. And I really dont see them as people sadly because they really arent self aware of their existence at all. And I really think that this would be an interesting thread!
