They just want him to be one of those kids who plays music really well. :P Though honestly, I'm not a big fan of getting kids to be forced to practice...but it does make it easier for us teachers to teach. -_-

Yeah but I really want to be a US Marine and music really doesnt do me too much good but they just dont listen.
