it's a 4 player smash em up brawler with platformer gameplay, but also doubles as a cooking/driving sim where you can fly into the cosmos with sanbox levels of imaginative creating

It's more than a party game, it is a hardcore brawler that doubles as a party game. The sunspace emissary is also my favorite 2D sidescroller that's not Mario.
