Why is it only in recent years that Hollywood "reboots" or "remakes" everything? Can't stop thinking about the apparently "inevitable" Indiana Jones recast or remake.

Happening with TV shows as well. Everything from Arthur to Beyblade seems to be being remade in crappy CGI.

It's because when original movies such as Pacific Rim come out they lose to sequel crap like Grown Ups 2
