still wondering why the 9.6 SM3DW world review was only on the IGN front page for like a day. I tend to like IGN but this is disconcerting

All you can do is use their ability to get early access to the games to look at screens, or video (of them playing horribly and misrepresenting the game) to try and judge if its something you like. Your best bet is by far the gaming community.
