I would not. It has more events, but I don't enjoy as many events as the ones in Nintendo Land. It is still a great game that I would recommend to anyone, as long you have Wii Motion Plus.

Yes, Wii Sports Resort is a great collection of minigames, however some of them aren't as good as others.
Nintendoland, I feel, had a more consistent level of great minigames, where there were still great games but many of them weren't as good as the others.
