"Michel Ancel, the acclaimed developer behind both Rayman and Beyond Good and Evil, could be leaving Ubisoft to concentrate on his own projects. The move would allow Ancel to detach from a large company and find more freedom in creation and organisation. Ancel and six other developers within his team are apparently looking to leave the company. Ubisoft denies the report."
Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect

that could never happen, Unisoft wouldn't ever allow that.I hope Ancel and the team are allowed to keep the Rayman and Beyond Good and Evil franchise.

No chance in hell. They don't own those franchises Ubisoft does.

beyond good and evil 2 should be canceled if he leaves.
How so ? Even if he does leave that doesn't mean the game can't be made or that it can't be good.

It has gone through development hell for what 5 years? Idk how long to be honest. I could see the game being dust in the wind if he leaves either that or Ubisoft will rush it together. It wont come out its like Half life 3 and the last guardian. Games that are so good that companies are afraid to cancel them but don't want to make or dont have the resources to make.

See, if Ancel leaves now, or heck within the next month (and delete everything for Rayman Legends lol), Ubisoft will suffer a massive setback. The higher ups didn't think the decision through, and now will have a complete game sitting for 6 months, and two incomplete ports that will never finish by September. Perhaps Ubisoft will rage quit Rayman altogether, and that IP will join Mega Man in the "Unfairly Treated Hall of Heroes".
But most importantly, the industry itself will release just how important it is that you need to cater to devs, not the other way around. As far as I'm concerned, they don't see that anymore. I know this business is about making money, but target the audiences correctly.
And then I will buy Keiji and Michael's game "Best Platforming Game Ever".
Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON
