Hey guys.
I've disconnected my WiiU to bring it to my dad's place and well, now, that I'm back home with it, I wanted to find a better spot for it. I'm using my computer monitor for my WiiU (Asus VW246H) and computer has two monitors (an LCD 17" GVA only and my 24"). So, I was wondering... Could I make my 17" sit on top of my WiiU? My 17" is NOT a CRT, it's an LCD (Samsung SyncMaster 701n). According to what I can find only, it's approximateively 4.4kg (~9.7lbs).

So, can I put my monitor directly on the WiiU. Would you dare? Otherwise, I'll just set it up like it was before...

I wouldn't advise it, unless you can find a way to place the monitor in a way so it doesn't block the vent holes.

^ -_- Who said that I actually did put my monitor on my WiiU? I did not put my monitor on my WiiU. Trolls need to stop existing, really.

If it weighs it down too much... I don't think it will be good for it.

Add me on Wii U if you want to settle it in Smash

Yeah. It might damage the console from weight, and could possibly block the air vents. Not to mention it adds extra heat to the console, increasing a risk of overheating. So I wouldn't put it there under any circumstances.

Nah, I don't think that's the greatest idea. I don't think the Wii U's outer shell is as tough as a PC's. It might even warp over time, and break the disc drive.

If you really want the monitor above the console, a simple table/montior stand (which takes up just abit of room) could work well. The wii u could easily be underneath it.
