A few hours ago : "THESE FORUMS ARE DOOMED!" "I'M LEAVING THESE FORUMS FOREVER!" A troll was all over the forums. The forums was thought as to be in it's final hours.

A few hours later : New ranks, New Banner, return of an Admin.

So red is better than blue is what you're saying?
People still need to use it.
Even if you just say "I think this is spammy?", it's good to report something even if you're not completely sure.
Because even if you report something, they're the ones that have to judge the content against the rules, not you.

I think what fieryguns means is that, since the report function is now more pronounced (contrasting with everything else), you can more easily remember that the function is there.

In fact, it's kinda beckoning me to click it now. By that token, I hope that people will use it accordingly, and with appropriation.

Oh well, when you put it that way, I can see that confusion.

I'm sure it's something you can place to the back of your mind. I will say that I think it's a good change though, because I'm sure if this was what it was like way back when then we may have done things much better.

It has actually changed.
It no longer loads a new page, and reporting dupes requires you have the url for the original thread.
Also, a drop down selection of the type of rule you think it breaks.
Good improvements.
