the question is about whether these fancy banners are for personal use or if the website uses them.

I had actually done that last week but I got no response, so I thought he wasn't the one to ask. So i'll just wait for a reply back off him then. Thanks.
He's rarely on... I guess I was luck and he was on pretty soon after I PM'd him. It wasn't instantaneous for me either, though.

I like the Wonderful 101 one, except for the fact that you can tell the logo has been ripped straight from the trailer... It's just kinda pixelated. 
I'm sure there's a font that's close to that one somewhere...

Yeah, I tried to be quick with the logo. I'm going to render out the logo from an image next time I edit it.

Although I think Watchdogs is cooler I think 101 would be more fitting since it's a Wii U exclusive.
