With ea's recent shenanigans, and talk of microtransactions in everygame... This is somehow more relevant now than when it was made.

So without further ado, Call of DOOty.

Hilarious.  Especially the "$ 4 Us" achievement.  I don't think we'll have to wait long to see things in the game environment that require DLC to use.  Sad state of affairs.

It just expresses how much COD is an onrail scripted shooter. I bought Blops2 but that was a mistake. All graphics and explosions, a story and sometimes you are actally playing. The freedom the MP mode has is absolutely absent. Give me GoldenEye or Timesplitters. I enjoyed those far more back in the day.

No, just an illustration of how things have changed.

Not at all. Call of duty was an amazing game.

Such a shame whats become. A hideously twisted parody thats the exact opposite of everything the original stood for.

I wonder what happened... Oh, right. EA and activision greed crapping all over the place.

What did it stand for?

I currently play COD4 online, and if I had an actual DECENT internet connection, it'd be perhaps the most amazing shooter ever, up there with MW2 (remember, MW2 was my first FPS ever)

Sure the multiplayer is great. But sorry, when playing the singleplayer I got the feeling that I was watching a movie with a few moments that I was actually in control. Is this what gaming has become? Is this the actual pinnacle in gaming, the standard on which others measure themselves with. I actually like Bioshock much more, now that's a game.
