Explain to me how they marketed it as "only a kids game"?  Do adults not buy LEGO games?  What is it with the aversion to games that don't feature uber mature themes?  It's based around LEGO's. I'm 28 years old and it looks fun as hell to me.  Real, actual people who have actual maturity don't need to be reminded of that fact through their videogames.  I can still enjoy things that are made for children (interestingly enough children are typically the people who have to prove to everyone that they are "mature", adults who have progressed emotionally through adolescence can typically tell their super ego to shut the hell up and let them enjoy stuff)

i was just overreacting. the commercial isnt bad. at first it only seemed as if they were targeting kids but iv seen it on tv twice now and its ok. they shouldv put that dirty harry reference in :P

Ok.  I know that it looks silly, but that doesn't always mean childish.  I like games that don't take the premise too seriously and this is the perfect game to use that tactic.  I expect Watch Dogs and others to be more serious and fun in a different way.

Anyone know the resolution for Lego City? I was watching a interview video on youtube, and they said the animation looks great in 1080p. Not sure if that means 1080p native or not. If it is 1080p native, hopefully the framerate holds up.

No idea, though if I had to guess, I think it's around 720p60 or 1080p30. Not sure, though.

Umm, I wouldn't think the Wii U would have a problem doing 60 frames at 1080p especially for this, but if this is what the graphical discussion is being reduced to, it's going to be a long generation.

I don't really enjoy Lego games so I don't think I'll buy this. Maybe when it's cheap.

Nice to see TV commercials for this game as it can only help the Wii U. Cannot wait for it to arrive at my door!

The game is getting mediocore reviews to far, especially "The game takes 45 seconds to load" thing. Ugh, I really wanted this game.

As lead developer of the game isn't his opinion a little biased? :P

If you think Smogon ban stuff

"Just because they can't beat it"

You clearly don't play OU

You clearly have no knowledge of the metagame

And you clearly don't deserve to have an opinion.

This hardly constitutes as mediocre. According to EDGE, Lego City Undercover is as bad as Aliens: Colonial Marines, I find that hard to believe.

I think I saw a 7 somewhere as well but I can't seem to find it anymore. I only found the actual reviews from Ranting Robots and Game Informer.

Considering the 5 is from EDGE and the 90% from an official Nintendo Mag, I'd say this game is a strong 8.

Not a masterpiece, but it'll definitely sell some consoles.

Gamepad and Map details.

Physical copies may be delayed.

Some more information about the game :) .

The delay is only 2 days so nothing to worry about.

Well that's good. The reviews I saw were only the edge ones and a 7/10 from someone else.
