X4 is my favorite hands down. I love the game from top to bottom. From the graphic improvement since Megaman X3 to the overall gameplay. I'm still trying to beat Sigma and dayum he is tough as nails. What is your favorite Megaman?

Ahhhh overall megaman universe games, yes I'd go with X4, only because of how big an impression it made on me coming from x3 to full blown beauty, great soundtrack and 2 story modes.

I'd LOVE for capcom to just make more x games this style and put them up for download, i'd happily pay $30.

 

On a side note:

runner up: toss up between Megaman legends 1 and megaman 7

Megaman X5 has always been my favorite, I really just love the X series in general though.

My favorite X is actually X1 just for all the nestalgia. As far as favorite mega man I'd have to say 2 on the NES. And my favorite legends is 3 oh wait.....

I loved the original megaman, the second and the fifth X series was great, but for me the older ones are the best.

My only thing with X 2 is i dont really like the soundtrack. granted, i respect how unique it is, but meh.

It may sound cliche but i'd say Megaman 2.  I'd say MM9 takes a second place finish though

I'd say my top three favorites are Mega Man Powered Up ( PSP), Mega Man X ( SNES), and Mega Man 2. All three games have amazing soundtracks, and great gameplay. Powered Up also has the benefit of tons of content ( Original game remade on the new engine, revamped version of the first game with revamped and extra stages, level creator, free DLC, play created levels online. 12 characters to play as in the new mode, each with three difficulties for each stage.).

Megaman X on SNES! I used to play the crap out of this when I was a kid. followed by Megaman x4 on Sega Saturn! Saturn version > PSX... lol

The only megaman game I have actually played is X8 and zero 2. Both were enjoyable from what I can remember. I just recently downloaded the original megaman, but haven't beaten it yet.
