Do you think we need a YouTube channel for this forum? I am thinking of making one. The YouTube channel can be on the latest news, updates, and other stuff.

Someone would have to decide who will be the face of the forum when sharing these things, and any ad revenue generated should be put toward the site with a small portion spread among whoever end up doing the videos.
It could be individual people who all use the site name in their videos. Don't want it to end up like some other console related youtube communities though.

I can kinda see how you're going with this. Reminds me of how David Turnbull runs the 3DS Forums, while also making YouTube videos about 3DS news. If this were to happen, the channel wouldn't be about the Forums, but rather just general Wii U news. Similar to how David's Nintendo 3DS channel works. But since David also does Wii U news ( I think?), I don't see much of a point in a Wii U channel being made.

Eh... I don't know if our community is even big enough for there to be a point for an official youtube channel yet. We also already have an "official" user-run podcast...

David's vlogs came before the forum.
Sepharos does videos for the Wii U, or will at some point.
