But, the gameplay looks alright.

 

TMNT: Out of the Shadows is in pre-alpha stage, and will release in the Summer for PSN, XBLA, and PC.

Nobody can say they made the Ninja Turtles better, Id pick Turtles in Time on SNES over this any time.

They look absurdly weird and too realistic in my opinion,But in the game it looks alright c:

My favorite TMNT would be the 2003 anime-ish ones.

This does look hyper realistic and while I don't care for the art style...the game looks awesome in motion. I will be picking it up most likely.

Th art director made them look more turtley than teenagey.

That's why the torso looks all scaly and why the skin looks wrinkly.

And they got rid of the "cheeks" that are usually prominent.

That's why the faces look creepy.

Everything looks great except the heads. Way too cartoonish for the rest of the style, WAAAAY to humanish looking, missing the defining 'beaks' that they had cause they were, well, turtles, in favor of giving them more human like mouths with human lip like expressiveness, which is whats sending the whole enchilada speeding to the uncanny valley on a bullet train.

And the heads also look disproportianate, particularly don.

They took the awesome out of the turtles original awesome weirdness, now they are just wierd.

They are mutant turtles. They never looked "normal" XD

Competely agree, also am I the only one who noticed everyone has somewhat realistic eyes except Leonardo, who has eyes like in the comics and the 2003 series?
